I like to learn new skills and that brings me happiness. I always lived in cities and I would like to experience life in the countryside, taking care of plants and specially chickens. I am not retired yet but ,in the future, I would like to have my own vegetable garden so that is why is so important to learn about permaculture, plants, compost and try to be more autosuficiente.

I am a language teacher and I am fluent in Spanish, Catalan, Portuguese and English. I would like to include a cultural and language workaway experience and probably I will chose a variety of countries to work in order to learn even more.

More details about my language interests
I can teach English and Spanish ( although my focus is to learn about the life in the countryside, I would be fine to speak and teach the hosts). I already speak a few languages and I would like to learn French, Italian and Dutch.

I am a hands on and self-motivated person (I am a part time teacher and have my personal arts and crafts projects). I work well independently and in a team (I have more than 20 year experience as a teacher). I adapt to the environment and to the work required (in 2023 I stayed in Peru ,near the Amazon River, living my first off grid experience). I am good at organising, planning and delivering the work on time (working as a teacher and with my family).

I am calm and patient. I can do jobs in a house as cooking, cleaning, painting, sewing. I took care of houseplants plus strawberries, tomatoes, flowers, a cat, a dog, a bird and gerbils. I am looking forward to learn about chickens. :)

What else ...

I like long distance walks. My husband and I have been doing them in England, Scotland, Spain, Peru, Italy, France and Germany. I also like to cook from scratch and to avoid ultra processed food.
