I am an adventurous, fun loving person who is always up for a new challenge. I love meeting new and interesting people and learning about different ways of life. I have found what brings me most happiness in life is the freedom to live boldly, staying true to my values, staying connected with my hobbies and interests, and exploring new avenues of thought, expansion, and growth.

I am passionate about working with kids, teaching, language learning, creative writing, and water sports. Most of my life I have spent in the water. I was a competitive swimmer for 12 years, a swim instructor for 6, and I recently started surfing and immediately fell in love with the sport. My favorite place in the world is by the water so any opportunity which keeps me near the sea is perfect for me.

I speak 3 languages (English - first; Spanish - Fluent, French - intermediate)

I have a dual honours BS in Psychology and Education. I have held volunteer teaching positions at schools, worked as a swim teacher for individuals of all ages and skill levels, volunteered on farms planting crops and tending to livestock, and I have experience working in hospitality and customer service (bartending, serving, and managing).

I thoroughly enjoy language and culture exchange, teaching and working with kids, water sports (swimming, surfing, kayaking etc..), as well as any new challenge that comes my way.

What else ...

In Morocco I have done 3 workaways, one where I worked reception, gardening, cooking, and social media management. I have also worked as an English and Spanish teacher at a rural school, and helping build mud brick houses near the Sahara. In Senegal I helped at an association for Talibee children, watching them, helping provide basic medical care, food, and a safe, secure place to relax.
