Description
We; Hasan and Aygül set out with the intention of producing both healing and food in a sustainable life structure that includes natural and clean production. We progressed by dreaming of growing our own food as much as possible, collecting and cultivating medicinal plants, and sharing the surplus with those who do not have the opportunity to access clean food and medicinal plants. We had the opportunity to gain experience and observe by traveling and working in different farms and campsites for years. With this excitement, we completed the Department of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants at Balıkesir University. In 2010, we also had the opportunity to listen to and learn permaculture from Bill Mollison and Geoff Lawton in Istanbul. We established our own production workshop between 2019 and 2024 and produced natural cosmetics, medicinal plants and natural foods. We received Natural Cosmetics and Branding training in 2020. We have been interested in ecological transformation, waste-free life, non-toxic cosmetics and cleaning products, medicinal and aromatic plants, ecological construction and ecological tourism for about 17 years and we integrate them into our lives as much as possible.

We closed our production workshop at the end of 2024 and decided to go on a journey. We set out to visit farms and NGOs doing similar work in Latin America and to travel by sharing information.

We have been in Uruguay for about a year now and we plan to stay more. We are looking for paid positions as well as volunteering at the moment.

This is a beautiful restaurant and cultural center. We stayed for three weeks, people that work in this place are wonderful. We had many friends and shared a lot. The food is very delicios and healthy.

Ali is a great host, he is very hospitable. He cooks great foods, very delicious:) The farm work isn't hard. Working with so many medicinal and aromatic herbs was a great experience for us. The pets (dogs and cats) were also so lovely. Totally recommended.
