Hi everyone! We are Beverly (Chilean) and Imanol (Basque), a couple of lifelong travelers who found each other in a hostel in Australia and haven't stopped exploring together since.

Starting in January 2026, we are embarking on a new chapter in New Zealand with our Working Holiday Visas. We are coming with open hearts and a deep desire to connect with the local culture, the stunning landscapes, and, most importantly, with people who share a kind and genuine soul.

Our Journey & Philosophy: We are seasoned travelers who have navigated through the diverse cultures of Southeast Asia, India, Nepal, South America, and Europe. These experiences have shaped us into adaptable, respectful, and open-minded individuals. We have plenty of experience with volunteering and working abroad; we understand the commitment it takes to be a good guest and a helpful hand.

We prefer the peace of the outdoors over the rush of big cities. We are most at home when we are near the ocean or surrounded by trees. As surfers, we have a deep respect for the sea and the environment, and we always strive to leave every place a little better than we found it.

How we can contribute: We aren’t just looking for a place to stay; we want to be a meaningful part of your daily life or project.

Cooking & Sharing: We love food! During our time in Australia, our favorite moments were cooking for friends and sharing flavors from our homelands. We’d love to share a Chilean or Basque meal with you.

Proactive Help: Whether it’s gardening, helping around the house, or outdoors projects, we approach every task with a positive attitude.

Autonomy: We will have our own vehicle, giving us the freedom to move around without being a burden on your logistics.

Languages: We are fluent in Spanish and English. Additionally, Imanol speaks Basque (Euskera).

We are always happy to share our native languages: Spanish and Basque (Euskera). We love it when conversations flow naturally while cooking or working together. Regarding learning, we are always open to improving our English through daily life and, of course, we would love to pick up some Māori words and expressions to better understand the soul of New Zealand. For us, language is the best bridge to truly connect with people :)

We are simple, handy, and energetic people. We can help you in the garden, paint a wall, or keep the house tidy. We especially love the kitchen; we enjoy spending time there, cooking for friends, and trying new recipes.

Since we've lived in many different homes and shared spaces, we are very respectful and easy-going. We’ll basically help with whatever needs to be done, always with a good vibe and a smile 😃

Just to add a little more... we are very easy-going people who truly value peace and kindness. We are not looking for a busy 'tourist' experience; we are more about the quiet moments, like watching a sunset after a day of work or sharing a coffee in the morning.

We travel with our own boards because surfing is our way of staying connected to nature, so we are always happy to be near the coast! Also, having our own vehicle gives us the freedom to be self-sufficient and not a worry for our hosts.
