I am a loving funny crazy free-spirited guy who enjoys living life, learning new things, experiencing new cultures, and speaking the truth. I believe humanity needs to disconnect from the matrix and reconnect with nature and a deeper meaning to life. I also believe in equal rights and justice for all.
I am most passionate about organic farming, being self-sufficient, permaculture, spirituality, plant base medicines, ketogenic diet, helping others, and the community. I have long left my former life working like a slave for Financial Institutions for a more meaningful fulfilling existence of living in peace with other beings and nature.
I am originally from New York of Argentine descent. Since October of 2013, I've spent more than 4 years in South America working and volunteering. After South America, I came back to the states then spent another 8 months volunteering and spent some time in Portugal, Spain, Morocco, and Thailand.
I desire to help out in projects that really care about the volunteers as people and not just labor.
Volunteering has taught me humility and a higher purpose for existing in this world other than being part of a system that doesn't work and does not make sense.
During my traveling, I have acquired different skills and useful experiences. I have volunteered on farms, fed cows, pigs, chickens. I've helped build ditches, chicken coups, helped build houses out of clay, painting, plastering, etc. I love nature, agriculture, landscaping, carpentry, permaculture, vineyards.
I am a native English speaker, fluent Spanish speaker, and can speak intermediate Portuguese. I have also worked in Hostels in Argentina, Colombia, Ecuador, and Brazil.

I have multiple skills. I have held several jobs in my lifetime from working Wall Street to detailing cars. I have worked in Hostels in Argentina and Brasil, so I can definitely be of assistance in this area. I have manual labor skills, carpentry, farming, painting, permaculture, etc. Even though I have had many experiences, I still have a lot to learn so I do claim to be an expert but more of a hardworking willing assistant desiring to improve my knowledge and experience.

Hacho es un hombre del Renacimiento, una persona despierta que tiene un vasto… read more conocimiento de Medicina China, Kung Fu, Acupuntura, Permacultura, Agricultura, Ganadería, Espiritualidad y muchos otros temas. A diferencia de muchos lugares en los que he estado, él no recibe voluntarios para obtener ganancias económicas o para explotarlos a cambio de mano de obra barata. Él es amable. generoso, humilde y más que abierto a compartir sus conocimientos con cualquiera. También predica con el ejemplo, que también es un detalle muy importante. No solo le muestra qué hacer con paciencia, sino que se usa a sí mismo como un gran ejemplo de trabajo duro y dedicación. Sabe motivar sin sobrepasar los límites y es sensible a las necesidades, en mi caso habiendo llegado con algunas molestias en la cadera. Él me cuidó incluso cuando mi orgullo se interpuso y me dio varios tratamientos de acupuntura para ayudar a curar mi dolor. También es un espíritu libre, nunca me reí tanto con un anfitrión, no solo lo considero un amigo sino mi hermano. La casa es cómoda y la comida deliciosa. También es muy buen cocinero y lo hace con alegría. Todos los fines de semana teníamos Asado, que también fue uno de los aspectos más destacados de mi estadía. Los animales son hermosos, las 2 cabras son agradables pero me encantan especialmente los gansos, que fueron mi compañía los días que estuve solo cuidando la propiedad. Seguro que nuestros caminos se encontrarán de nuevo, amigo mío, deseándote a ti y a María lo mejor desde el fondo de mi corazón.

Without a doubt my 18 days at the placre was one of the most Enjoyable workaway experiences I have ever had. Spending time with Hacho and Mary was truly a pleasure and I would hightly recommend anyone who has an open mind and heart to do the same. Hacho is a Renaisance man, an Awake person who has a vast knowledge of Chinese Medicine, Kung Fu, Acupuntura, Permaculture, Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Spirituality and many other subjects. Unlike many places I have been, he is does not receive volunteers for financial gain or to exploit them for cheap labor. He is kind. generous, humble and more then open to share his knowledge with anyone. He also Leads by example which is also a very important detail. He does not only show you what to do with patience but he uses himself as a great example of hard work and dedication. He knows how to motivate without pushing ones limits and is sensitive to ones needs, in my case having arrived with some discomfort in my hip. He took care of me even when my pride got in the way and gave me various treatments of acupunture to help heal my pain. He is also a free spirit, I never laughed so much with a host, I not only consider him a friend but my Brother. The house is comfortable and the food is delicious. He also is a very good cook and does it with joy. Every weekend we had Asado, which was also one of the highlights of my stay. The animals are beautiful, the 2 goats are nice but I especially love the Geese, who were my company on the days I was alone taking care of the Property. For sure our paths will meet again my friend, Wishing you and Mary the very best from the Bottom of my Heart.

Alejandro came to stay with us and was a great help painting and helping us organize some clutter. He is a self starter, independent and very clean. His attitude to work was really correct and I found him trust worthy.

He does like a good bed and appreciates quality!
