Description
Hello! My name's Barney. I'm currently travelling around Brazil until mid-May and loving everything this country has to offer - the people, the food, the music, and the unbelievable landscape.
I work as a horseback trail guide in Argentinian Patagonia and the Rocky Mountains in Canada so I love being out in nature. I love working and living amongst animals and enjoy experiencing new cultures wherever possible. I enjoy playing guitar and photography in my free time as well as yoga, reading and writing when I have the opportunity. I also speak fluent Spanish and would love to improve my Portuguese.
I come from a large family of siblings and cousins so I'm a very sociable person. I've spent a long time working as a tennis coach in the UK so I also have a lot of experience working with children. My current work as a guide in the backcountry is very physical so manual labour tasks are very familiar for me. Basic carpentry, garden work, cleaning and cooking are things I have spent a lot of time doing over the last few years while working in the tourism industry.
