======= Barbara =======

Hi! I'm Barbara from the north west of France! I am working as a psychologist in transcultural psychology since 2 years. I’m a very curious person who loves meeting different cultures and having deep conversations. I’m fascinated by cooking, hiking in the mountains, wild camping, knitting, dance, yoga and writing. I travelled in several countries by train, and I love to stay several months in the same country to understand the language and the culture. I speak French, English and Italian, I am also currently learning Punjabi.

======= Gurjeet =======

Hello! I am Gurjeet (I also like to be called Jeet) from India and Italy. I was born in a little village of Punjab, and since my childhood I lived in Italy. Currently, I am a doctoral student in computer science and climate at the University of Geneva in Switzerland. I love climbing, running, hiking and playing music. I do speak several languages: Punjabi, Italian, English, Hindi and some French. I like meeting people and discovering new cultures and new things.

======= About us =======
We are both sensitive people about the preservation of the environment, and we try in our daily lives to take care of it by consuming only what we really need. This is the reason why we are looking for a place where we can be closer to nature. We would love to learn new skills and new ways of living life in a sustainable way. In our trip to India and Sri Lanka, we are looking for new experiences to improve our understanding of different countries and nature. We would like to share that we already did volunteering by contacting directly NGOs, and it's the first time we use the Workaway platform.
We hope this trip will inspire us to new ideas for making the world more accessible to future generations of life.
