Description
My name is Prune, I'm 38 years old, and I've trained as a social worker. I'm in the process of creating a place for people suffering from burnout, based on the principles of gardening therapy. I started working on this project several years ago, during which time I worked on various aspects of it as I gained experience around the world. I arrived on this old farm in August 2022. For the moment, I'm working to make the place pleasant by preparing the vegetable gardens, green spaces and buildings. While waiting for the therapeutic garden activity to get underway in spring 2025, I'm also making progress on the cultural aspect of the project. A festival has already been organized for October 2023, with great success. It's set to become an annual event, and other concerts will be held regularly in the barn.
I live with my two cute kittens, Venus and Apollo, and I think I'm going to add purrson therapy to the project ;-).

My aim is to make this farm a place of peace, a natural setting in which to feel at ease, as well as a place for artistic creation and encounters. The project is still very new, so we're taking the time to observe, reflect and exchange ideas. My boyfriend, family and friends are frequent visitors. Here, we learn from each other, we garden, we build, we adapt. I also love to cook and make little crafts. At the same time, I work in a café-concert that I'd be delighted to take you to - it's always a great place to spend an evening. I also play in 3 bands and do a lot of concerts, which I'd be happy to take you to and teach you a few tunes.
Help
There's a hectare of land on which various vegetable, fruit and relaxation areas need to be created and maintained. There's also the barn in which various spaces have yet to be fitted out. I spent 8 years abroad, during which I did a lot of voluntary work and learned a lot about self-confidence and nature. There's always something to learn, and here the space is dedicated to creation and innovation, and lots of small projects can be set up to test and gain experience. helping with plants: vegetable gardens, hedges, orchards and green spaces; woodworking with mini-constructions and dry-stone wall-building are the main activities here.

Accommodation
We've created a mezzanine dormitory in the barn, with two double mattresses. And for those who wish, there's plenty of space to pitch your tents. Under the dormitory there's a communal kitchen where we'll be cooking with a maximum of garden produce.
What else ...
My farm is located in the Normandy bocage, where there are many hiking trails, and a "voie verte" that goes all the way to Mont Saint Michel passes nearby. La Suisse Normande, with its many hiking, climbing and canoeing circuits, is a 45-minute drive away. So are the beautiful beaches of southern Manche. And of course, there's a great cultural life in the region, with concerts, festivals and exhibitions.
Public transport is underdeveloped in the region, but solutions will always be found.
