I'm currently in Japan and looking to travel around to explore and adventure all over. I'm looking at doing hostel, farm, cultural exchange work at the moment.

Description

I’m happy being outdoors, working with my hands, or trying out a skill I’ve never done before.

I also like being creative. I’m planning to do a sketch a day while I travel to document my adventures. I've been living with my partner's family for the past few years whilst living and working around London. Getting to know his grandad in his final years, brother, sister in law, and recently born niece! So, I'm used to living with other people comfortably and being respectful of their spaces.

While I’ve explored parts of Europe already like France, Poland, Spain, and Switzerland, I’m excited to see more of the world and meet new people. I don’t mind hard work, I learn quickly, and I’m always open to trying new things. I've already got my holiday working visa for Japan, and a full UK driver's licence with an international driving permit. So, I'm ready to start exploring!

I only speak English fluently, and I’d be happy to help others practice it. I know a little bit of Japanese and French, but I would love to practice them more. Especially Japanese. I’ve been teaching myself Japanese for a while through personal study already.

I grew up in the countryside on a converted farm where I gained lots of invaluable experience when it comes to general property maintenance and animal care. I then studied animation at college and university and worked as a professional animator for the past 3 years, which has given me creative and technical abilities as well as experience working in teams.

I have gardened and grown crops, looked after chickens, and helped care for our three dogs and two cats. I’ve done lots of DIY too, like painting and decorating rooms, and fixing things around the house. I helped care for my partner’s grandad in his later years too, keeping him company, and helping with tasks around his home. I enjoy cooking and keeping things tidy. I also have general skiing experience and feel comfortable in the mountains.

What else ...

Outside of work and travel, I’m into 3D printing. I've spent many hours adding upgrades to my 3D printer, and I like experimenting with coding too. Working on small projects like firmware updates for my printer or just teaching myself new things.
