  • Description

I’ve always loved traveling and discovering new places. What interests me most is not luxury or all-inclusive vacations, but experiencing the real life and culture of a country firsthand. I love meeting local people, learning about different ways of life, and becoming part of everyday life for a while.

I want to build connections and friendships all around the world, share experiences, and learn as much as possible. I’m especially interested in culture, local tips, gardening, and handicrafts — even though I’m still a beginner and always learning. For me, Workaway is the perfect opportunity to step out of my comfort zone, improve my English skills, and grow through new experiences.

I’m open-minded, curious, motivated, and excited to help, learn, and create meaningful memories together.

  • More details about your skills

At the age of 19, I went on a Work and Travel trip to New Zealand, where I gained a lot of independence and valuable life experience. During that time, I also worked as an Au Pair for about 1.5 months. My main responsibilities included household tasks such as laundry, vacuuming, cleaning, and helping to keep the home organized and comfortable.
I also worked in a hostel where I cleaned rooms, changed bed sheets, and prepared rooms for new guests. I enjoy helping out wherever needed and I’m not afraid of hands-on work.
I’m very comfortable around animals as well. My best friend has a dog that I regularly went on walks with, and I have no allergies or fears of animals.
Because of my open-minded, communicative, and friendly personality, I usually adapt quickly to new environments and enjoy meeting and connecting with new people from different backgrounds. I also really love cooking and baking. I follow a vegetarian/mostly vegan lifestyle and enjoy trying out new recipes and sharing ideas with others. For me, food is a great way to connect with people and learn more about different cultures. I’d be happy to exchange recipes, cook together, and discover new dishes from around the world.

  • What else ...

In my free time, I do a lot of sports and enjoy staying active. I love strength training, running, and playing football, and I’m also very into hiking and spending time outdoors. I’m always open to trying new sports and activities as well.

I listen to music a lot — usually with my headphones on — and I really enjoy reading psychology-related books in English as well as science fiction novels.

I also enjoy relaxed social evenings like board game or card game nights, and movie evenings together.
