ES:¡Hola! Mucho gusto, nos presentamos: somos Marta, una escultora, y Andrea, un carpintero.
Somos personas alegres, amamos la naturaleza, el arte y creemos profundamente en los valores de la comunidad, la convivencia y la solidaridad.
Nos inscribimos en Workaway porque queremos que nuestro viaje por Centro y Sudamérica esté lleno de experiencias profundas, nuevos aprendizajes y conexiones que duren en el tiempo.
Somos personas que se saben adaptar, con muchas ganas de trabajar, de aprender cosas nuevas… ¡y también cocinamos muy rico!
Marta ha trabajado en una granja, ha sido ceramista, mesera ha tenido muchas experiencias con niñas, niños y jóvenes, tanto en voluntariado como siendo maestra; está convencida de que al crecer nunca deberíamos dejar de jugar… y tiene un pésimo sentido del ritmo.
Andrea es una persona muy paciente; le encanta la música, la escalada, las bicicletas, la fotografía, y está tratando de mejorar su español. Ha trabajado como carpintero, mesero y albañil.
¡Tenemos muchísimas ganas de conocerles y echar una mano!

EN: Hi! Nice to meet you — here’s a little about us: we’re Marta, a sculptor, and Andrea, a carpenter.
We’re cheerful, easygoing people who love nature and art, and who strongly believe in community, togetherness, and sharing.
We joined Workaway because we want our trip through Central and South America to be full of meaningful experiences, new connections, and lasting relationships.
We’re adaptable, eager to help, excited to learn new things… and we’re good cooks too!
Marta has worked on a farm, as a ceramic artist, as a waitress, and as a mask maker— has lots of experience with children and teenagers, both as a volunteer and as a teacher. She’s convinced that growing up shouldn’t mean stopping playing. And she has a terrible sense of rhythm.
Andrea is a very patient person; he loves music, climbing, bicycles, photography, and he’s working on improving his Spanish. He has worked as a carpenter, waiter, and construction worker.
We’re really looking forward to meeting you and lending a hand!

Ciao! Piacere, ci presentiamo: siamo Marta, una scultrice, e Andrea, un falegname;
Siamo persone solari, che amano la natura, l’arte e che credono profondamente nei valori della comunità, della socialità e della condivisione.
Ci siamo iscritti al portale di workaway perchè vorremmo che il nostro viaggio in centro-sud America fosse ricco di esperienze profonde, nuove conoscenze e legami duraturi.
Siamo persone che si sanno adattare, che hanno tanta voglia di fare e di imparare cose nuove, e brave a cucinare!
Marta ha avuto molte esperienze con i bambini e i ragazzi, sia di volontariato che come insegnante, è convinta che crescendo non si debba mai smettere di giocare. Ha lavorato in fattoria, ha fatto la ceramista, la cameriera e ha un pessimo senso del ritmo. Andrea è una persona molto paziente, è appassionato di musica, arrampicata, biciclette, fotografia e sta cercando di migliorare il suo spagnolo. Ha lavorato come falegname, cameriere e muratore.

EN:
Andrea: as a carpenter i've worked with wood since i was a teenager; I pay a lot of attention in my projects, on being sustainable as much as possible in the choice of techniques and materials.

Marta: as sculptor i'm capable in building things and also in painting and decorating. My artistic research focuses on the relation between nature and human being, considering fundamental being respectful of planet earth and natural balances. I use different types of materials, always following the philosophy of recycle and reuse.

Furthermore, we both worked in agricultural projects: Andrea did grape harvest, Marta has knowledge in gardening and plant care, and we recently worked in a permaculture ranch in Mexico.

Our education, work, travel, and volunteer experiences have allowed us to learn many skills that we’re happy to share. We're also passionate about photography. More generally, we’re used to working as part of a team and cooperating to reach goals. We value constructive communication and place great importance on listening and sharing.

ESP:
Andrea: como carpintero he trabajado con la madera desde la adolescencia; en mis proyectos de madera presto mucha atención a ser lo más sostenible posible, tanto en la elección de las técnicas como de los materiales.
Marta: como escultora, soy muy hábil en construir y también muy capaz en la pintura y la decoración. Mi investigación artística se centra en la relación entre la naturaleza y el ser humano, considerando fundamental ser respetuosos con las personas y con los equilibrios naturales. Utilizo diferentes tipos de materiales, siempre siguiendo la filosofía del reciclaje y la reutilización.

Además, ambos hemos trabajado en proyectos agrícolas: Andrea participó en la vendimia, Marta tiene conocimientos de jardinería y cuidado de plantas, y recientemente trabajamos en un rancho de permacultura en México.

Nuestra educación, trabajo, viajes y experiencias de voluntariado nos han permitido aprender muchas habilidades que estamos encantados de compartir. También nos apasiona la fotografía. Más en general, estamos acostumbrados a trabajar en equipo y a cooperar para alcanzar objetivos. Valoramos la comunicación constructiva y damos gran importancia a la escucha y al intercambio.

Andrea: come falegname lavoro con il legno fin dall’adolescenza; nei miei progetti presto molta attenzione alla sostenibilità sia nella scelta delle tecniche che dei materiali.
Marta: come scultrice sono brava a costruire, e molto capace nella pittura e nella decorazione. La mia ricerca artistica si concentra sulla relazione tra la natura e l’essere umano, considerando fondamentale il rispetto per le persone e per gli equilibri naturali. Utilizzo diversi tipi di materiali, seguendo sempre la filosofia del riciclo e del riuso.

Inoltre, entrambi abbiamo lavorato in progetti agricoli: Andrea ha partecipato alla vendemmia, Marta ha conoscenze di giardinaggio e cura delle piante, e recentemente abbiamo lavorato in un ranch di permacultura in Messico.

Le nostre esperienze di formazione, lavoro, viaggio e volontariato ci hanno permesso di apprendere numerose skills che saremo felici di condividere; abbiamo ottime capacità in ambito artigianale, costruttivo e decorativo, siamo appassionati di fotografia, abbiamo esperienza in campo agricolo. Più in generale, siamo persone abituate a lavorare in team e a cooperare per raggiungere obiettivi, cerchiamo il confronto costruttivo e diamo profonda importanza all'ascolto e alla condivisione.
