Description
Hey there! My name is Anaïs, I fell in love with traveling since my first trip abroad, and I keep exploring the world whenever I can, and dreaming about it whenever I can't :) I lived one year in Spain and four years in Italy, and traveled to various countries in Asia, South & North America and Africa.
I'm eager to meet new people from different cultures, get to learn about their lifestyle, their jobs and their passions. Besides, I truly enjoy discovering new landscapes. I'm an outdoors lover, and I spend most of my weekends in the mountains hiking or skiing, climbing and biking. In case of adverse weather, chances are high to find me deeply absorbed in the reading of a book.
I am an animal lover, and I would be especially delighted to take care of your cats, dogs and horses! I have worked in horse ranches in various continents, and I am eager to learn more and to improve my horsemanship. I'm also educating a young Beauceron, which got me very interested in positive reinforcement training and ethology. My passion for animals extends to many furry and feathery creatures, I can't wait to meet yours :)
In addition, I worked as a gardener for 6 months in Australia, and I'm eager to learn more about
sustainable agriculture.
I'm open-minded, curious, enthusiastic and easy going; relatively independent, I like sharing quality time with people, while I also appreciate having some time and space on my own. I look forward to learning new skills and to discovering life styles different from mine, to stepping outside of my comfort zone and to living pieces of adventures one after the other in good company :)

I am skilled in establishing harmonious relationships with animals in general.
I worked in horse ranches in Turkey, where I rode in nature (canyons, valleys, forests, beaches) with tourists during tours and took care of the horses (brushing, saddling, feeding, cleaning), I am very keen on improving my horsemanship.
I also worked in a cattle station (aka ranch) in Australia, where I bottle-fed daily adorable poddies, and volunteered in an animal shelter in Greece where I took care of many cats and 5 adorable puppies. I also grew up with cats and love dogs, I regularly pet sit, and I'd be delighted to cuddle and play with yours :)
I am fluent in English and French, and would be happy to teach one of these two languages. I can also speak Italian and some Spanish, and would enjoy practicing any of them.
I also have experience in hospitality, and I'd be glad to interact with customers and make sure they enjoy their time.
Besides, I am a handywoman, and as I'm currently renovating my apartment, I have experience in sanding, painting, sawing, drilling, mounting and much more, and I'd be very interested in learning any new manual skills. I also have plenty of plants and enjoy gardening.
I can also give you a hand with computers, as it's part of my job.
