Hi!

I'm Alyssa and I currently have a working holidays visa for France. I have lived in Paris for 6 months and now I'm hoping to see more of France and experience more of the culture. I am a fit, active person who loves to be outside doing things. I grew up on a mini-farm, with horses, cows, dogs, cats, chickens and rabbits, so I'm very experienced and comfortable around animals of all shapes and sizes. I'm not afraid to get stuck in and try new experiences (hence the living in France).

I'm friendly and have done project co-ordination type roles in New Zealand, so I've got experience organizing groups and projects to help them run smoothly, as well as providing great customer service to internal and external clients. I am organized and reliable, looking for places that will help me with my (A2, nearly B1) French and be happy to teach me new skills or let me learn about their part of the world!

I am fluent in English and happy to teach it to others! I have been teaching children, but would also be happy to have conversations with adults. I am learning French, and currently take courses to improve it. I am able to hold a conversation if you speak slowly, but I want to become much better!

I am enthusiastic and willing to do all sorts of jobs.

I have a master's degree in genetics and I am working towards a project management certification. I am organized and can help create structure in a project, although I am also very happy to go with the flow and do what I have been directed to do.

I have been teaching field hockey and English to children (in a mixture of French and English) while in Paris.

I am comfortable around animals of all shapes and sizes, having grown up on a farm and done both pet and house sitting. I am good at outdoor work, have helped build outdoor pens, fix fences etc. I am fit and active, having played field hockey while in Paris.

I am a sports person and have played field hockey for 20 years. I have also done all sorts of sports over the years - tennis, rugby, cricket, squash, football.... Being from NZ I love rugby and watch all the games I can. I enjoy giving new sports a go

I also own two horses, and have ridden for 17 years. I am confident in handling them and I've been at a polo yard before for a polo season. I have grown up with dogs, from maltese through to german shepherds. I currently own a cat too, who I've taught tricks - sit, paw, spin
