Description
Hello there, I'm not entirely sure what hosts are accustomed to finding in these self-descriptions but I will do my best to be concise.
To be begin, my hard skills are as follows:
2 years of university at Laurentian University in Northern Ontario Canada, the course was 'ADVL' or Outdoor Adventure Leadership. ADVL comprised of courses ranging from whitewater kayak rescue, to human physiology, to survival techniques and wilderness first aid.
2 years of attending Cambrian College, also in Northern Ontario. The courses taken here were of a mechanical sort. Welding, electrical work, engine maintenance, and hydraulics were all course included in the Industrial Millwright Mechanic course.
I have a combined 4 years guiding and co-ordinating adventure trips into national parks across Canada, mostly in Ontario and Alberta, in canoe and on horseback.
(So much to say in so little space) :)
Some things to note:
Learning is my passion, the more I can experience, be involved in, and learn about, the happier I am. My hope in particular in this endeavour, is to learn to sail, and to form a basic understanding of navigation and marine rule.
I am a personable, well educated, adventure seeker, and am endlessly curious.
This is a sliver of me, and I hope it paints somewhat of a clear picture as to my character, and interests.
I am not at the moment much of a social media aficionado, but will add pictures to my profile as I find/take them.
Thank you for you time, and any consideration.
