Description

Hallöchen, My name is Alexandra and I’m from Germany. My au pair position on the North Island starts on August 31st, but I plan to arrive at the end of July so I can travel around the South Island until then.

I’m a very open-minded and sociable person who loves being around people. I really enjoy spending time in nature and I’m excited to explore New Zealand’s landscapes and go hiking as much as possible. I love being outdoors, staying active, and doing sports.

I grew up on a farm, so I’m used to working hard. I like animals and I’ve been riding horses for many years. I also play an instrument in two orchesters and really enjoy music.

I find it very interesting to learn about other cultures, traditions, and stories.. I do a lot of volunteer work in the sports club and at the summer camp.

I have experience in farm work, as my family owns a farm and I have been helping there since I was a child. This has taught me responsibility, independence, and a strong work ethic. :)

I also have a lot of experience working with children. On a voluntary basis, I run two playgroups and help organize a summer camp for around 60 children. Through these experiences, I have developed strong organizational skills, creativity, and a sense of responsibility.

I play an instrument in two orchesters.
