Activities i am interested in:
Hiking, life in the open air and a bit of adventure sound always perfect to me. But also just relaxing by reading a good book. I also like museums, but then be warned: I take my time!
My next destination:
Perth, Australia - from Sep 2025 until Dec 2025 View allDescription
Hello, I'm Alessandro and I'm from Italy.
Let's start with a bit of professional life... I have studied Medieval Archaeology first in the Universitie of Turin fi and then of Pisa, working in a few archaeological exacavations in the meantime. In 2019, immediately after completing my Master's degree, I had a four months traineeship as a guide at Lofotr Viking Museum in Norway. When I got back I started working as an art history teacher in highschool and then also as support teacher for students with disabilities.
Since last year I've been spending the summer break at Lofotr Viking Museum, working as activities personnel (archery and axe-throwing).
I have also been volunteering in the a parrish of my birthplace for over fifteen years, getting experience in many different tasks: from organising and managing games and activities for children and teenagers, to helping in cooking for summer camps and meals for hundreds of people; form chopping wood and mounting tents to doing everyday chores like house-cleaning and dishwashing.
I've always been a very practical person, I like to understand how things work and I get great satisfaction from doing what i can by myself. I love spending time in the open air and in my free time you have high probability of finding me hiking on the mountains, bathing in a river or shooting with bow and arrows. But I'm also very interested in history, science and ancient art, so maybe you'll hve to look for me in a museum instead. If you still haven't found me, then is possible that my passion for fantasy has taken over and I've probably lost myself in a fantasy book for a while, don't worry: I'll be back soon!
Also keep in mind that, even if I wouldn't call myself an extrovert, I truly enjoy to socialise and spend time with people. I am a curious and enthusiastic person, and I like exploring new places, learning new things and meeting people.Interests

More details about your skills
I have a Master's degree in Medieval archaeology and I've a little field experience. I've been teaching for four years as an art history teacher and a special needs support teacher in high school. I also worked as a museum guide and activities personnel (archery and axe-throwing) at Lofotr Viking Museum (Norway).
For fifteen years, I've been an educator, organiser, and entertainer at summer camps for children aged 6-15. I also have some experience in cooking for many people.
I like doing a bit of artistic woodcarving (whittling actually) every now and then.
