Hello there! 👋

We are a young couple — Alba from Spain 🇪🇸 and Maxence from France 🇫🇷 — who share a big passion for travelling, discovering new cultures, and connecting with people from around the world. We both speak several languages: Alba speaks Spanish, French, English, and Portuguese, and Maxence speaks French, English, and Spanish fluently. Communication is definitely one of our strengths!

We love spending time outdoors, going on hikes, exploring nature, and taking care of animals. We’re both animal lovers through and through — whether it’s helping on a farm, looking after pets, or supporting eco-friendly projects, we’re always happy to lend a hand.

Cooking is another of our passions (and one of our favourite ways to share our cultures!). We enjoy experimenting with new recipes, making homemade dishes, and organizing fun dinners with good food and laughter. We also love playing board games, listening to music, and creating a good atmosphere wherever we go.

We see Workaway as an opportunity to grow, learn, and share — not just a way to travel, but a chance to be part of different communities, exchange ideas, and live authentic experiences.

We are responsible, open-minded, and easy-going people who enjoy teamwork but are also independent when needed. You can count on us to be respectful, proactive, and genuinely involved in the projects we join.

We are a bilingual couple — Alba is from Spain and Maxence is from France. • Alba: native Spanish speaker, fluent in French and English, and conversational in Portuguese. She works as a secondary school teacher of English and French, and she loves sharing her passion for languages and cultures with others. • Maxence: native French speaker, fluent in English and Spanish. He enjoys practicing languages in real-life situations and learning from people from different backgrounds. We both believe that languages are bridges between cultures, and we’re always happy to help others improve their communication skills while learning from them in return.

We are both creative, motivated, and hard-working people who love learning new things and getting involved in different kinds of projects.

Alba has experience teaching languages and working with young people. She’s organized, patient, and great at communication. She enjoys cooking, gardening, taking care of animals, spending time with children, and doing sports — especially those that can be enjoyed outdoors and with others.

Maxence loves animals, nature, sports, and photography. He’s very helpful and enjoys giving a hand with household chores, maintenance, and outdoor work. He’s a calm, reliable person who loves contributing to a good team spirit.

Together, we make a balanced and proactive team: responsible, adaptable, and always ready to help wherever it’s needed. We love working with animals, gardening, DIY, cooking, cleaning, hospitality, and anything that involves creativity, teamwork, or being outdoors.

We’re both fast learners, good communicators, and open to any opportunity to grow and share our skills while discovering new cultures.
