Description
Hi everybody! My name is Aiden, I’m a pipefitter/welder in the US in the state of Missouri.
In 2017-2018, I volunteered at a hostel in Amsterdam called The Shelter and really had an amazing time and felt like I had gained a family across the world. During that time I learned about cultural work exchange programs like WorkAway, and since then have always wanted to participate.
I love outdoor activities and working with my hands.
I'm super interested in learning more about gardening and animal care and what it takes to run a homestead a or natural project. I've been learning about beekeeping as well and I think they are amazing creatures. If you have bees I would love to help, or if you want to take care of bees yourself, I should know enough to help you get started on the journey.
I'm very relaxed in temperment but hard working and detail oriented. In my free time I like to walk or hike, play card games, read a book, or enjoy conversations over some coffee or tea. I travel with a game called cribbage that I love to teach.

A willing attitude(seriously,I'm down) and gusto to push forward. I do like the satisfaction of a job done and done pretty.
I am comfortable with hand and power tools but would love more carpentry experience. I've mostly been putting pipe together the past couple years.
COMMUNITY LIVING: I have done this dorm style in college as well as when I lived/volunteered in Amsterdam, there were like 30 of us running two hostels while living offsite.
