  Description

  A beautiful Quinta in Central Portugal (Beiras) – We (Jan & Karin) own a rural property in the Portuguese wine region of Dão. The Quinta is situated in the small village of Póvoa de Midões (Tábua), near the Mondego River with stunning views of the Mondego Valley and the Caramulo Mountain range. The Quinta is a true oasis of peace and nature.
  
  The Quinta is 6 hectares in size. A large part of it is forest, another part is grassland. We also have different types of fruit trees, a number of olive trees and grapes. All harvest is just for personal use. We also have a ecological pont.
  
  We are looking for a couple who can help us in the months february, march and april.

  Living in a small village in Portugal learns you to live in a very simple and easy going way. Especially the ongoing traditions and the way how the people in the small villages lives together and taking care of each other is something you will appreciate.

  Help

  We are looking for a couple with own transport. The work consists help with in our biological gardens, cleaning the forrest, maintenance in and around the house and cleaning our ecological swimmingpool.

  For sleeping we have in the wintermonths our naturhouse available for the workawayers. This house is well equipped with a kitchen, bathroom, sleepingroom, sittingroom and wifi.

  It is important to have your own transport in the region where we live. In the region there is a lot of things to do, like hiking, cycling, workshops, yoga, visit the local markets or visits to nice small villages or cities like Viseu and Coimbra.
