Description
Hey there :)
I’m Annika, 24, and in March 2026 I’m heading off on my next adventure to Canada for Work & Travel.
I’ve been exploring different countries for about a year, with small breaks in between, and I love meeting new people, immersing myself in different cultures, and just enjoying life.
I’m flexible, quick to learn, and happy to help out with all kinds of tasks -creative, practical,social..
I’m also on a mission to improve my language skills and pick up new tricks – whether it’s cooking, fixing things, or something totally unexpected, I’m in! :) That’s why Workaway is perfect for me: I get to help out, learn from others, and be part of everyday life in different corners of the world.
I’d describe myself as open-minded, honest, and adventurous – always ready for new experiences, interesting conversations, and fun shared moments.
In my free time, I enjoy films, music (mainly Indie Rock/Pop, Hip Hop, Jazz – I play a few instruments though nothing professional), good books, photography and sports like snowboarding, skating, bouldering, surfing and hiking and I’m always up for trying new sports, so if you’ve got something fun to teach me, I’m all ears! :)
Can’t wait to see what adventures are ahead! :D

Additionally I have some knowledge of woodworking and the tools involved.
I also enjoy gardening and love turning freshly harvested produce into delicious meals.
Plus, I have skills in videography and photography, so I can capture moments and create some great visual content.

They are warm, kind-hearted and incredibly welcoming.
The work was never too hard and even felt meditative sometimes :)

The time flew by, and even though I only spent a few weeks with Caroline, Olivia and their dog Brownie, I learned so much during my stay.
Caroline and Olivia are both super active and incredibly inspiring people and I’m really impressed by their way of living!
I’m so grateful for… read more
Most of my work involved gardening (weeding and preparing for winter), taking care of the adorable dog, and looking after the chickens.
There was also plenty of time to relax, read a book, go for a hike, or simply enjoy the stunning views from the house.
Even though Pablo was often busy he always made sure… read more

She is a very friendly, considerate and adventurous person who helped us beautifully with various jobs. Apart from the daily tasks around the house, some finishing of dry stone walls and planting, she most of all helped us moving and organizing stones. So she´s definitely not afraid to do some… read more
