Description
Hi! I'm Aaron.
I studied computer science in Weimar, Germany and before starting working life, I want to see a bit more of the world first.
I always find it enriching to get a new perspective on life through different cultures. Helping others and creating a feeling of community can bring so much joy. I also really enjoy hands-on work because it’s such a nice break from my usual everyday life.
Right now I’m mainly looking for places in Ireland, since I’d love to learn more about Irish culture and meet interesting people I can learn from.
Back in 2018, I spent a gap year in a community for the care of mentally disabled people. During that time I gained experience with housework, gardening, and some agricultural work. At university, I also organized tabletop events and game nights to bring together people from different studies and create opportunities to connect. My friends tell me I am very friendly, helpful and have a very calming presence.
In my free time I love going on short hikes and seeing beautiful landscapes. I also have a thing for origami and papercraft. And you can always count on me if there’s an obscure Arthouse movie to watch ;) -
