Hello everyone!!
I am a tour guide from Pompei (yes, I was born here!) Art, history and foreign languages are my passions. As a teenager and young adult i worked hard to get my dream job: tour guide in one of the most incredible place in the world, my hometown Pompeii :) i decided to study Art History in university (after a language-focused high school programme) but my passion for traveling was always there...so I did two erasmus in Austria and Germany to improve my German, i did workaway in London and I spent a month in Montpellier some years ago to improve my French.
My goal for the future is using German and French for working -at the moment I only run tours in English and Italian, in the most important touristic attractions of my region -Campania.
I would like to use Workaway to explore places I have never been to with the eyes of a local, and improve my language skills. I have a great experience in hosting as well (couchsurfing, - I have done Erasmus 2 times -, and for 10 years my family and I run a B&B. You will be more than welcome to visit me in Pompeii any time! -
