Workaway news: connect with your volunteers via the Workaway host app!

Since we launched the ‘Workaway Travel App’, we’ve received huge positive responses from workawayers who've found it a LOT easier to connect with the community on the road. So we thought, why not create an app for hosts too, so that they can also reach out to volunteers more quickly and conveniently? Enter our brand new Workaway Host App, from which hosts can now plan their Workaways and update their listings just by a few simple taps on their smartphone!

One of the biggest perks of having an app is you’ll receive live notifications whenever you get a new message from a workawayer, so you won’t miss any enquiries from potential new friends and helping hands!

Hopefully this will help you plan and confirm exchanges a lot faster (& increase your host rating with your reply rate too! 😉) Of course, you’ll also be notified when you receive new feedback, or when there’s new features and updates that you could find handy.

Looking for help? With the Workaway Host App, you can find and connect with travellers by checking out workawayers nearby, workawayers planning to visit your area soon, and browse through profiles you’ve previously saved.

Of course, you can also instantly contact workawayers and respond to messages via our inbox shortcut too!

We all know how important it is to have a great profile, so we've included some extra guides on the Workaway host app to improve your listing. Access and update your listing anytime with our personalised tips, such as by uploading more photos, leaving feedback for workawayers who’ve stayed with yourself, and adding your project onto the ‘last-minute’ list if you’re looking for immediate help.
