Adam has been a wonderful, deep-thinking volunteer to have on program. They always provided great conversational topics both on and off the work site, and would complete any task assigned to them. We'd love to have Adam back on the program in the future :)

It was nice staying with Doriana🙂 Pleasant person : super auto-ironic, playful, and genuinely fun to be around. I found her energy really entertaining, but also meaningful, because we had a lot of real conversations. Her art is beautiful : amazing paintings, and the whole house is full of creative objects and collections 🎨 you get the feeling of living inside an artistic world. The place itself is great too: a big property surrounded by nature, and just a short walk from the seaside 🌊 which made everything feel calm and inspiring. She was also very kind and available in everyday life — sometimes driving me to the city or picking me up, introducing me to people in the village, and just being very open socially. We often went for walks by the sea and talked about all kinds of things.😄😊 The food was another highlight — very healthy, tasty, and always adapted to me. She would ask what and how much I wanted to eat each time, which I really appreciated 🍲 She also paid attention to comfort in the house (heating, bedding, room, etc.), so I always felt taken care of. About the work: it’s flexible and quite collaborative. She has many ideas and ongoing projects, and she shares them with you openly, asking what you feel more drawn to. She’s genuinely open to suggestions and actually appreciates new ideas, which makes the experience feel more like creating something together rather than just following instructions 🤝 Overall, I’d recommend this place to someone who enjoys creativity, freedom, and a more human, unconventional experience ✨

Dariush is a well-traveled, experienced photographer who brought great energy to our team. Unfortunately, we didn't get many chances to connect deeply due to scheduling. Still, I highly recommend him—professional and skilled!

A wonderful time with Elier, Soledad and Facundo!! The place is nice, the job isn't feeling like working for a person who loves to do art and craft and has many projects in mind and the family is adorable!! It's so nice to have been part of that family for a while 🙏 When you arrive in Kurileufu, you don't want to leave then... and when you have finally left, you keep wonderful memories in mind ✨ The room is cosy, the food is great and you share so many peculiar moments with family and friends without counting your time and appreciate never ending shared conversations 🫶 I (Camille) was there solo/by my own, but there is no difference for couples: wonderful shared time! Muchas Gracias, Elier & Soledad, mi tiempo con ustedes fue un tiempo que nunca olvidaré 🙏🫶

Ha sido un placer enorme conocer y compartir con Joaquín todas estas semanas. Se integro perfectamente al lugar que le correspondía. Siempre de buen humor su compañía era agradable y su ayuda con las diferentes tareas fue muy importante y valuable. Espero cruzarme con el en otro momento, saludos grandes hermano!

Annabelle et Eloie sont restées 20 jours a la ferme, et quels supers moment nous avons passés ensemble ! Elles sont joyeuses, enthousiastes, rigolotes et super conviviales: les gens du village en on un très bon souvenir et leur départ a été vecu comme une séparation !!! Si vous avez la possibilité de rencontrer Annabelle et Eloie, vous êtes chanceux.se !!!!

We had the most amazing 10 day experience with Bart and Lieve! They are an amazing couple that made us feel right at home. Their house is beautiful with such interesting history and we had an amazing private room and bathroom that was all newly renovated. The work was very fair with jobs such as cleaning the attic, yard clean up, gardening, and cleaning the windows. Every morning Lieve made us a delicious fresh breakfast of fruit, yogurt and oats which was the perfect way to start our day. All of their cooking was to die for and it is safe to say we were well fed! They also let us borrow their bikes which made exploring Ghent very easy. We also got to know their two children Relinde and Reginald who were also just as welcoming! We even got a city tour of Ghent with Relinde and got to know Reginalds children which was a lot of fun. We really just felt like part of the family and for that we are super appreciative. Thank you guys for everything we hope to be back one day to see you all! I had an amazing time at Sarah and Davids farm! I would always come back and do it all over again. Their dog Louie is the best. He really loves belly scratches :) They are so lovely people and just really nice to live with. I learned so many new things. Each morning we were milking the goats and every few days we made some cheese out of the milk. The cheese tastes really really good! We also harvested the honey from the bees. That was so interesting The place to stay was perfect. You have your own little studio. Each evening you can see the kangaroos on the property next to them. Sarah and David were really the best hosts you can think of. They helped you out with everything they could and made you feel really welcome. Thanks for having me!

Isabella and Niko are very welcoming and kind people, we felt at home in their house and the accomodation was excellent, we really liked the work and we learned a lot of new things about their adorable sheep, gardening and more, it was hard at times but always very fulfilling. We had good conversations and Isabella cooked some really good food and we shared some recipes too, they are both easygoing and Niko can talk to you about anything and has always some interesting insights to share. We had enough time to explore the area and to relax in their property. We already miss them and all the animals, from Callisto to those free spirits the ducks!

Nous avons vécu une magnifique expérience avec Jean-Luc. Les paysages sont extraordinaires, nous avons côtoyé les gens du village, allé au marché, visiter des châteaux. Jean-Luc est un guide incroyable. Nous avons eu beaucoup de plaisir et cette expérience restera gravée dans nos cœur 🫶
