Description
Note: we are urgently looking for workawayers who can help us during the summer holiday in japan.
If you are already in Japan and looking for the workplace to stay, please let us know.
We have accommodations and foods and also offer some payments.
Hi My name is Kazu, Japanese male 48 years old.
Since 2015, I have set up a new business located in Ehime prefecture, Shikoku island, Japan. I acquired the management right of the huge resort in Kumakogen (Highland area) from the local government and I am now running it. This resort consists of 15 wooden cottages, camping area, multi purpose ground, fishing pond, display of old traditional Japanese house, museum, restaurant, Cafe, craft house etc.... within the total 16ha land.
This is highland area, surrounded by the deep nature and you can enjoy beautiful environment.
I am now looking after the management here with some staff members.
I'm aiming to upgrading this property to people all over the world, not just Japanese. This has been mainly used by Japanese tourists until we took over, however due to the increase of the inbound market in Japan recently, we have been hosting more and more oversea tourists now.
To welcome more tourists and give more satisfaction and unforgettable memories, we always want to upgrade our facilities and introduce more events and projects.
We want more people who want to join us and enjoy rural life together. We welcome any nationalities and ages however, families and small children may not be suitable for this place.
Also, Japanese standard for the hospitality industry is relatively high and require more tensed and focused attitude for the tasks. I don't want you to work too long or to overwork but please focus on your job when you work, and enjoy rural life while you are here.
We expect you to work 5hours a day and 5 days a week.

Help
Maintenance of the Cottages, as those are pretty old now and need the repairs and paintings from time to time.
Gardening. We started last autumn to create a beautiful garden in the main area.
We planted roses, marigold, etc.
We need your help to keep the garden look beautiful.
Cleaning. Depending on the period, the resort can be quite busy. Therefore, there will be cleaning to do in the cottages after the guests checked out.
Also, we are going to create followings soon.
1. Upgrading the camping area.
Our camping area is currently simple free site.
I would like to introduce the glamping style in our campsite.
Creating the natural hand made hot bath.
Creating the big tent which is lasting long.
Need someone who has DIY experience.
2 farming.
As we already have a few farms but not utilized much so far.
We need more knowledge and hands to activate our farms.
3 Animal farm
we have some Alpacas from the end of March, 2019. these are imported from US and placed in our property.
we want Alpacas to be our local mascot, so we especially want to who loves animal and can look after them.
Additionally, we are now running 2 other resorts in Shikoku Area (the others being in Workaway as well, called Nature Resort in Shimanto River/Niyodo river). My goal is to have at least 4 resorts in each prefecture. I would like to welcome guests to Shikoku from all around the world and give them the "Free and easy" travel style. By providing the accommodations in the whole Shikoku Area, we can also provide the comprehensive service to guests who want to travel around the island in a short time.
This is what I want to achieve within a couple of years and from now on, I would like to welcome someone who is familiar with digital marketing. We want to introduce our style to all over the world with multiple languages. If you are familiar with home page creation (like Word Press) or SNS like FB or Instagram etc.. please also help us to share our message to the world.
We need workawayers with the working holiday visa or any visa with working permits in Japan.
