Had a great time on this workaway. Montgenevre is a beautiful and interesting place and Martin and Caitriana are excellent hosts. They really went out of our way to make the stay as comfortable as possible, even driving us up to different places like Serre Chevalier for a different skiing experience or to Briancon for shopping and their dog Cass
… read more is very easy to get along with. They fostered a fine atmosphere and all the workaway-ers got along great. We worked about 5 hours a day, five days a week doing basic maintenance, painting, sanding, glossing etc and had the weekends off. We took it in turns to make dinner which worked really well, a great cultural exchange with an ample supply of wine. This is the only workaway I have so far taken part in but I can't see many others livng up to this high standardYou can only contact Workawayers who have an active membership.

AMAZING!!! We stayed here for almost a month and it was such a great experience, we even can say it was our best helpx/workaway/wwoofing experience so far. Marty and Caity are two lovely and interesting people who we felt comfortable from the first moment and we are so thankful for everything they've done for us when we where here, including
… read more taking us for skiing, cooking delicious food and taking care of us. They were interested in us, and we definetly felt this place a cultural exchange and nothing close to "slavery" or just a "working" relationship. The atmosphere here was relaxed, cozy, familiar, fun and happy and we loved that. We met also three other workawayers, who became our friends and we had great time skiing and going to the pub, OUR pub hahaha. There is a beautiful bar one block from the house, the place is beautiful, there are some great ski resorts close. The work was nice too, we had to work 5 hs per 5 days a week, usually painting, cleaning the house, or doing some other light maintainance works. Food was great, we each took turns to cook every day, so it was pretty varied and you could choose what you wanted to cook each day.
I've made woofing and helpx 6 other times, and none of them compare to this one, as it did had everything: we enjoyed the work, we enjoyed the food, we enjoyed the place, we met amazing people and the host are the best :)
I would recommend anyone who is looking for a great workawayer experience, to come here and enjoy from caity, Marty and cass company :)You can only contact Workawayers who have an active membership.
