  Description

  We are a Spanish-German family living in a well communicated flat in Valencia, not far away from the beach. I am Martina, 48 years, half Spanish half Germand, and working as a scientist. My son Eric is 8 years old, an easy-going child, very curious and playful. My boyfriend Antonio (Spanish) comes sometimes to visit us. With as is also living Heiko, a Germn friend, who is normally away on the weekends. We are very happy living in Valencia and have a nice social life in our neighorhood.

  We are an open-minded family, happy to share discussions about all kind of themes. Eric is very interested in everything and loves to talk and play. We can help our visitor to understand the Valencian cultural values and social customs.

  Help

  I would need some help looking after my son, Eric, from 31 August until 9 September, when school starts. I will be working from home on some of those days, and you would have the weekends free.
  It would be lovely if you could do some activities with Eric, such as going to the beach, the swimming pool or the playground.
  After 9 September, you would be welcome to stay with us for a few more days, with no childcare responsibilities, if you wish.
  We would love to host a native English speaker. Eric already speaks English quite well, as we lived in Ireland for three months, and it would be great for him to continue practising it.

  The accommodation will be in a nice luminous room, and the kitchen-living room will be shared. The visitor can participate at all family meals, and food will be available if we are absent. We eat all kind of food, but can adapt to special requirements (vegan, etc).

  Valencia is a nice city with many cultural activities available in summer. The beach is at 30 min walking distance (or 15 min by bus) and the city center can be easily reached by metro
