Description
I'm Bharat, I was born in Varsingpur, south of Rajasthan State, India. I live with my wife in this same town where I have been headmaster of middle school (certified by the government of Rajasthan) since 2008. Now we have 120 students from Kindergarten to class 8. Right know we have 9 paid indian teacher including myself. The number of students per class goes from 9 to 15. The volunteers will choose if they want to assist to the staff or teach on their own. They will have freedom to develop any educational project. The main goal is that the students learn English.
It was in 2001 when I first met foreigners at my village. They came from Sweden and they teach me English and since then I like meeting new people and exchanging each other culture.Types of help and learning opportunities

The travellers can experience the life in an Indian remote area, far from the crowded cities. I would show them the village and the surrounding tribal area. They will find a lot of animal such as buffalos, cows, peacocks, monkeys, squirrels... They can also take a look at the hindu temples and learn how the people worship. If you are interested in, I can explain you many things about our culture.
In the school they will discover the Indian education.
On the other hand, I am very interested in the lifestyle and the thoughts of the travellers.Projects involving children

Help
I look for travellers with a good knowledge of English language so they can teach the kids and improve their fluency. The students are always so excited to meet foreigners and they learn like sponges! Any ideas about how to improve the school (or any project you want to develop) are more than welcome.
The school time it's from 8:30 to 14:00, and there is a break for a snack at 11:30. Normally you will have the freedom to teach what you are interested in.
In the near future, I want to start a new project to improve the women condition in this area. So if you want to help with that you are also welcome.Languages

The travellers will be provided a bed on my own home with my family and they can eat same meals as we eat (always vegetarian meals: butter chapatis and vegetables) and chai (milk tea). In my home there is no wifi but the mobile network is good, specially in the school.
If any volunteer prefer to sleep more isolated, there is a bed in the school where he/she can sleeps under the stars. The school is 3 minutes walking from home. What else ...
In their freetime, travellers can walk around the village and enjoy the peacefulness of this area.
