Description
My friends describe me as a free thinker and tinkerer, during my life I have played key roles in many projects. Since my young age I have actively participated in free software development, community networks and in general I have been collaborating building a fairer world.
When I was fourteen I have emigrated on my own from my native small town in Nebrodi mountains (Sicily) and started my world journey.
Just turned 18 i have started studying Energy Engineering and graduated a few years
later in Computer Science at University of Pisa.
After living for some years in Barcelona outskirts, I have been a digital nomad for a few years.
With all my travels and different experiences I have got a multidisciplinary knowledge, that I am now using to create an oasis for me, my extended family and willing friends, between the sea and the mountains of Sicily.Types of help and learning opportunities

We do know how to do many things, and we are happy to share our knowledge and experiences.
In the area there are many enchanting places, also there are many folkloric traditions, little towns a few kilometers away do even have completely different languages. In conclusion there are many many little known treasures that may be interesting to discover to travelers.Help
Before I bought the property has been abandoned for about a decade, so there is many different things to do before it could be called an oasis. The soil is fertile and rich in water so it have been invaded by blackberry bushes, and the historic house need some work before being usable again. I have good knowledge to do most of the things that need to be done, so I can share it to anyone willing to learn to work together :-)
I am currently working in:
- Build some facilities to camp more comfortably (shower, kitchen, table...)
- Remove a bunch of bushes
- Plant a bunch of trees
- Take care of the goats
- Milking the goats
- Improve the fencing so the goats doesn't eat neighbors plants ;-)
- Improve the conditions of the historic house
- Improve water management systems (pipes, storage...)
- Improve telecommunication systems (WiFi...)
- Create a shared office space
- Drying, canning or other conservation methods for surplus fruit production
- Cooking mealsLanguages

We are Sicilian mother tongue speaker.Accommodation
There is plenty of space to camp, I have tents and some camping equipment (blankets, pillow...) for the workawayers.
Fresh water in present in the property, and I am working in water, electricity and WiFi installation for a more comfortable camping experience.
We buy vegetables and fruits at the weekly market for the whole week, we usually
don't have much time to cook due to the many things we need to do so we usually
prepare kinds of food that doesn't take to much time to prepare, help with this
is welcome too. We either buy bread in the local baker or do it on our own
depending on time we have.
Occasionally meat and fish from local producers is available, so we buy that too
when available. We try to not buy things at supermarkets.
Of course we will buy more quantity to provide for the workawayers.
The goats produce abundant milk every day, and we have also some fruit trees
that are already producing, that is shared with the workawayers too.A little more information

Space for parking camper vans
If the van is able to go in ground tracks it can be parked inside the property, if not around the property there are rural asphalted routes, where no-one will complain about parking the van on the side of them.
How many Workawayers can stay?
