    We can't accomodate couples (sorry!)

    Mid December 2025 - April 2026
(you will need to stay for the whole season)

It will be our 4th season with Workawayers!!
    ----

We are a small Hotel with almost 60 beds right on the ski slope in the center of Flachau. Our Hotel is in a prime location in the center, directly at the ski lift on the Hermann Maier World Cup ski slope. This makes us the ideal entry point to the Flachau ski area and Snow Space Salzburg with 210 kilometers of slopes and 70 ski lifts.
We are a very small team, offering an oppulent breakfast buffet to our guests and in the evenings we serve drinks, snacks and easy to prepare dinners to those who like.
Our guests are obviously mainly passionate skiers, with some equally passionate aprés-skiers in between. We get everything from couples, to families, small groups or sometimes also bigger friend groups.

Our winter season starts mid december and lasts until april. We can just accomodate people who are willing to stay for the whole season.

    Help

cleaning, cleaning, cleaning, and feeding our hungry guests!

The work consists of 3 different shifts:

    - In the morning, at around 6:30, we will prepare the breakfast buffet, clean up tables and wash dishes and refill the buffet, all while all of our 60 guests come at the same time, hungry and hangovered, making the fried eggs and kilos of bacon dissapear in seconds! And afterwards we clean everything again, resetting the kitchen, as if nothing has happened.
    - In the evenings we run a small bistro, serve drinks to guests and prepare some food and snacks, we serve ready foods and make pizzas to cater the again hungry guests that come from aprés-ski, we also do laundry in between and clean everything in the end again. This position is sometimes very busy and it seems we run a real restaurant and other times, noone is there and the shift is virtually non existend.
    - We do housekeeping every day, cleaning the rooms and bathrooms and making beds. Most Guests come and leave at certain days of the week, so we get to remake all of our rooms at the same day, very quickly, between check-out and check-in. These are our busy days, as we still serve breakfast and run the bistro afterwards, all while doing tons of laundry and still smile at the Guests!

It is essential that you're willing to do housekeeping. Most of the work consists of working in the kitchen, but even though the housekeeping and room cleaning work is timewise the smaller share of the work, it is the most important, as the guests definitely need clean rooms and especially clean bathrooms! The work is physically more demanding than the work in the kitchen, but essential.

And our guests are very talkativ and are happy about personal contact. Knowledge of German would be an asset, but it's not necessary. We can work in English and the Guests are often happy to practice their language skills or teach you German.

Our busiest time is around Christmas and New Years!

The position we look for is for 25-35/week. Some weeks will be a bit busier (Christmas and New Years), others less busy. The shifts are very demanding, as it gets very busy, but you will also have a lot of free time to rest and do other things.

It's a regular job, you will get payment and a contract and days off.
