    Description

    Hi!

I’m an artist and an happy single mum living between Milan (Arco della Pace / Parco Sempione area) and the seaside in Viserba, nearby Rimini during the summer. Nice to meet you!

I’m currently looking for a kind, reliable and happy person who can join us in Milan in April or beginning of May and ideally continue with us by the sea in Rimini from July to end of August/early September.

I live with my 6-year-old son Sole, a joyful, curious and very interactive child.

If I had to describe myself, I would say I am an open-minded individual - I enjoy meeting new people and experience new things, but I am at the same time respectful of other’s people privacy and needs.

I am currently living between Milan and Viserba (Rimini) but in the past years I've been living also in Bologna, Brasil, New York and Berlin (in this order), being an artist and a traveler!
On summers I live in a nice house near to the sea, with a big and large terrace where I often organize art events. In Milan, I have just bought a new art studio that I am still setting up.

I am currently looking for somebody who can help me in Milan, mainly with my son Sole for a couple of hours in the morning on days when there is no school, and sometimes in the afternoons during week days. I would also really appreciate some support with the organization and setup of my new studio.

During the summertime, we move to the seaside near Rimini until the beginning of September, where the help is mainly with Sole—spending time with him at the beach, alternating between mornings or afternoons, and sharing playtime together.

I need a person who has previous experience with young children or who is already a mum (or dad) and who has a great sense of responsibility, I also appreciate good communication and honesty. I am looking for someone who can commit to a meaningful period, ideally at least for the Milan period (April–June) or for the summer period by the sea (July–August).

I am looking forward to meeting you and sharing a piece of life together!

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

Milan is a vibrant and lively city, and I live in one of its most beautiful and central areas, close to Arco della Pace and Parco Sempione—famous for its aperitivo culture and evening life. Everything is within walking distance, including the city center, so it’s a perfect place to experience Milan in an authentic and easy way.

Viserba, where we stay in the summer, is a small seaside town near Rimini on the Adriatic coast—you can actually see the sea from the terrace of my house :) It’s a very relaxed and pleasant place to live, especially in the summer months.

If you would like to learn some Italian, I’ll be very happy to help you practice your conversation skills. I can also suggest many activities and places to visit during your free time—both in Milan and in the Rimini area, which is a great starting point to explore the Emilia-Romagna region and beautiful cities such as Bologna, Urbino, San Marino and many others.

I have over 30 years of experience as a contemporary artist and I also teach art history, so I’m happy to share knowledge, conversations and insights about art, creativity and the Italian cultural landscape.

    What I’m looking for:
    someone responsible and consistent
someone who genuinely enjoys being with children
availability in early mornings (from 7.30am, not everyday)
a calm, respectful and collaborative attitude
    previous experience with children

Extra skills (welcome but not required):
communication, social media or basic computer skills (to support some artistic work)

    What help looks like
being with Sole in the morning when he wakes up (so I can rest a bit more) during the weekends
occasional playtime, going to the park or to the beach (in summer)
small daily routines (setting the table, simple cooking, groceries)

This is not full-time childcare — I am very present — but I need a second adult to create a more balanced daily rhythm.
