  We are a family of two—a mom and her fun-loving 4-year-old—living in the breathtaking Vancouver city , BC. Our home is situated along Vancouver seawall, offering stunning harbour and oceans views. We’re a friendly, active, but laid-back family who values connection, adventure, and a warm, community-oriented lifestyle.

  We’re an active family who loves exploring the outdoors around Vancouver! From December to April, you’ll find incredible skiing and snowboarding just 30 minutes to 2 hours away, while May to November offers stunning hiking trails nearby. In the summer, local beaches are a favorite, and Vancouver’s lively street festivals in spring and summer are a fantastic way to connect with the community and experience the city’s vibrant culture. You’re always welcome to join us on our adventures!

  Help

  We’re looking for a kind and dependable Mother’s Helper to assist with childcare, cooking dinner, and cleaning up after dinner four evenings a week. Occasional weekend help may also be needed. I’m very flexible. I work from home and will be around most of the time to lend a hand, making this a collaborative role. I would say that we are more of a ‘go with the flow’ type of family and would like the same personality traits!
  
  The ideal candidate:
  • Enjoys working with toddlers and engaging in fun, age-appropriate activities.
  • Has experience with childcare and light housekeeping.
  • Can cook simple, family-friendly meals.
  • Organized and tidy

  Our home is large and designed to offer plenty of indoor and outdoor spaces where you can relax and enjoy a peaceful atmosphere. If you’re looking to explore Vancouver there are many amazing activities right outside your front door.
  
  We’ll provide meals: breakfast is self-serve (cereal, fruit, bagels, etc.), lunch can be prepared from a variety of available groceries (like sandwiches, salads, or pasta), and dinner will be a collaborative effort—we’ll cook and enjoy it together.

  We also have a small, friendly dog named Kokonut and a bunny. That I will need help with caring for them both. Looking for an individual that is an animal lover and !
