Description
Hello Workawayers around the world.
We run an adventure camp and an after-school club for the children of Coyhaique so we are looking for people with great leadership skills and who are good with kids. We want to teach the children new skills like mountain biking, fishing, climbing and other adventure activities so it would be a great help if you have experience with these activities.
We are also remodeling the clubhouse for the kids adventure camp. The remodeling involves cleaning, construction, organization, and painting. We need your creativity to make the clubhouse into a warm, inviting place.
Additionally we own a small adventure tourism business and we are working to improve our online image. Photographers and media-makers are welcome to help us produce high quality videos and images. We are passionate about making tourism an industry that is working towards a more sustainable future that will protect the nature, culture, and people of Patagonia.
Our house is just south of the city of Coyhaique in the countryside. Enjoy the tranquility of clear night skies, stunning sunsets and sunrises. We have a variety of projects around the home from gardening to home decor. Whatever your abilities, surely we can fun ways to incorporate you into the family, culture, and lifestyle of Patagonia!

What else ...
Coyhaique is a treasure trove of adventure activities, and there are many opportunities to hike, mountain bike, raft, kayak, skiing etc. We have a great knowledge of the surrounding area and can also give you ideas of where else you should travel in Patagonia.
We live in a sustainable and friendly fashion, and we expect our volunteers to be enthusiastic, self-starting individuals who care about the world around them. This is a family setting, so guests are expected to be considerate of small children's needs and conduct themselves with concern for the trust, safety and comfort of others - for example, no excessive drinking in our spaces and any guests must be introduced to the hosts.A little more information
