    Description

At Hostal you'll experience history and warmth: it was my grandparents' house, then my aunt made it a hostel in 2010, and today I continue to run it with love, starting with the new management of this beautiful place where I hope to share my culture and country with travelers like you and me :)

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

At Hostel, we love creating meaningful cultural exchanges. Volunteers can join in activities like mural painting, restoration, social media, and helping organize workshops and events. You’ll have the chance to connect with other volunteers and my family, and the local community through shared meals, conversations, and creative projects. We’re happy to share our skills and experiences, and always excited to learn from the people who stay with us.

We are excited to welcome Workawayers to join us in a cultural and creative exchange. Our project involves restoring and designing a unique space that brings together art, hospitality, and community engagement.

We offer a variety of activities where you can contribute and also learn — including restoration tasks, interior design, wall painting and wall art, social media content creation, and organizing workshops or social events.

As part of the cultural exchange, you may also occasionally help with light tasks like cleaning shared spaces or assisting guests during check-in, always doing tasks alongside our local team.

We currently employ local staff, who are responsible for areas such as cleaning, reception and maintenance. Your role will be to support, collaborate, and in some cases share your skills to help train or inspire our local team.

We believe in the spirit of mutual learning and cultural sharing, and we look forward to creating a meaningful and respectful experience together.
