    FARM STAY!
IF YOU REALLY LOVE ANIMALS AND WANT TO SPEND SOME REAL QUALITY TIME WITH THEM, please welcome to our small farm. We run a small non profit organisation whose mail goal is to look after abandoned or mistreated farm animals. We cooperate with the public administrations of the island providing a space where farm animals are given a second chance. Our farm host from donkeys to chickens, pigs, goats, sheep, horses... mostly rescued from difficult situations. We take care of them, both phisically and emotionally as they usually arrive in very poor conditions. We also offer educational visits to local schools and to tourists, as well as pet therapy sessions for people with special needs. In the farm there is also a little dog hotel, where we look after dogs whose owners leave with us while on holiday. Our job is very important for the community, so we are looking for RESPONSIBLE people who are very energetic, fond of animals and ready to get dirty!! Looking after animals is a true passion to us, not a job, so we expect workawayers that come to help to feel the same way and have a strong passion for animal care.

    Accommodation

The farm has a small house with one big bedroom, open kichen and living room and bathroom. There is also a smaller room usually used as storage room but can turn into another bedroom if necessary. There is hot water and electricity, no wifi. You must really like nature and silence, as the farm is quite isolated. It is very safe and comfortable, although simple and in the middle of nature. We do not offer meals but are willing to pay a little extra to help with the food expenses, according to the hours that you work. We can talk about this during our video chat previous to your arrival.

  • What else ...

    What else ...

Lanzarote is a beautiful island to explore. Whether you like sports and the active life or are more of a laid back person who enjoys the beach and a little sightseeing, you will find what you look for in Lanzarote. Public service to go around is not very easy, so you might want to rent a car. We can advise you on all you can do here, surfing, trekking, wine tasting, diving, fishing.... just to give you an idea... You will love Lanzarote as much as we do!
