*To note: Our Host Rating is due to a lack of response during the low season. We will be welcoming a workaway sometime in April and look forward to hearing from you!
We are running a newly built 10-person hostel right in the center of Yerevan. The outcome of a project that took over a year to come to fruition just concluded a very successful summer season, welcoming happy guests from all over the world. This is a small family-run business, whose personal care and attention is noticed all throughout the premises. We are ready to welcome a helpful workawayer to join our team and explore all that Armenia has to offer.
The hostel is fitted with all modern furnishings and details, on-site laundry and a thorough security system placed throughout the building's public spaces. Since opening, we have attracted respectful, calm and conscientious travelers who maintain the peaceful atmosphere of the hostel.
Armenia is a country whose beauty is underrated and remains a true hidden gem that is finally being discovered. The city is now home to many expats and repats from all over the world who have found Yerevan to fill all their interests and hobbies amongst locals and you'll never find yourself without something to do. Beyond the center, you'll be able to explore local villages with hospitable homestays, find ample hiking opportunities, and wander through ancient archeological and religious sites.
If you are ready for a truly authentic experience in a country making it to the top of the list of desired destinations, we welcome you to our hostel in Yerevan for a most memorable opportunity!
Helping with Tourists
Our hostel is actively involved in a large network of hikers and you will be able to experience the natural wonders of Armenia with us and fellow naturists. In addition, the center is abundant with all types of cultural events, classes and meet ups that will cater to your interests. We are keen to provide our guests with an authentic experience in Armenia and will help guide you to do just the same. Let us know how you would like to spend your free time here and we'll help you!
We would like to welcome an eager volunteer who considers our hostel as a respite from the city and a home away from home. A perfect workawayer will take initiative, welcome and assist guests hospitably, maintain a high level of cleanliness, turning beds and comfortably communicate with us day to day with an adaptable attitude. Please consider that we are are a small hostel that caters to guests who have made the long journey to come to us. As such, some days may involve checking in guests at different parts of the day (the process is quite simple and more of a friendly welcome). You will know ahead of time when guests are expected to arrive and we will work together to allocate which check ins we would like you to do.
Cleaning and bed turnover will be done by staff once a day and you will not be asked to do. However, we would ask that you be open to helping if there is a need for an extra pair of hands. What we ask from our workaway is to have a positive and enthusiastic attitude towards the hostel. The hours will vary by day (never exceed 4 hours) and with intermittent days off. We are keen to have an extra set of eyes in the hostel, welcome guests from time to time, and do some light tidying up.
We immediately respond to our guests and will be available to you at all hours as well. With some communication and organization, you will find your time go by with ease.
We are not by any means a party hostel and welcome guests of all ages. For this reason, we ask that you maintain a high standard of conduct.
