    Description

    URGENT!
House/pet/plant sitter needed in mountain town of Norma, Italy

I'm originally from the UK and after travelling and working away for a few years, I eventually settled in Italy a long time ago. I have recently moved to the lively mountain town of Norma about an hour south of Rome.

My new home is very characteristic and in the old part of the town with views of the mountains and sea.

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

Norma is a thriving mountain town with good public transport connections to Rome and beyond. There are lots of walking trails, a local public swimming pool, numerous cafes/bars, restaurants and pizzerias. During the summer, the town offers many cultural events including concerts and theatre.

    Help

I am looking for someone to look after my dog who needs walking twice a day, 4 cats, lots of plants and generally keep my home clean and tidy while I'm away.

I would be able to pick you up from the mainline train station of Latina which is about 45' south of Rome.

  • Accommodation

    Accommodation

Housesitters will have full access to my one-bedroomed apartment and small terrace with sea and mountain views in the old town of Norma. There is wi-fi and a washing-machine but no TV. Everything you probably need is within an easy walking distance from my home - shops, great cafes, fantastic eating places for all budgets, Friday morning market, open-air pool, gym, newsagents, barbers, laundrette, bus stop etc, etc.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE ARE 3 STAIRCASES TO MY FLAT (NO LIFT).

  • What else ...

    What else ...

This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to spend 1.5 months immersed in a traditional Italian location, relatively close to Rome, Naples, the coast and the mountains.

PLEASE NOTE: Ideally suited to those who like the heat as temperatures can reach the mid 30s in mid-summer. There is a fan in the house and the town is shaded early morning and late afternoon
