    Description

Looking for a helper (individual or couple) for garden, property maintenance & small projects
Secondary / hybrid option: Live-in Nanny or Au Pair for several months in 2026

We are a young family with a homestead featuring a large garden and poultry, nestled in the beautiful mountains of British Columbia. We’re seeking a reliable and motivated individual or couple to join us.

    Main Position (A):
Help with landscape and garden care, poultry care, occasional housework, food processing/preserving, general property maintenance, and small home projects. We’re also planning a small deck build, carport, and firewood storage area in 2026 — so if you enjoy building and hands-on projects, that’s a big plus!

Meals for Main Position: Breakfast is provided daily. We hope you will mostly prepare your own meals, but we will share occasional meals together and some fresh produce from the garden will be available to you.

    Hybrid / Childcare-Focused Position (B):
If it’s a good fit, we’re also open to a nanny/au pair role that combines childcare with gardening, food preparation, and light home tasks (meal arrangements for this position can be discussed).

    We’re flexible with duration —

Au pair-style arrangements are for approximately 20 hours per week.
    Accommodation:

Option A: Your own private small cabin on the property, with a full kitchen, spring-fed water, bathtub, and outhouse.
Option B: Private room with its own bathroom, living area, and separate entrance.

We value kind, responsible, and hardworking people who enjoy nature, gardening, and a peaceful rural lifestyle.
We look forward to hearing from you and chatting more!
