Description
Hello I am John, I am looking for Volunteers that might want to come help, play and learn with me up on the land. I'd like to offer a place to stay, food, knowledge, in exchange for help with my little farm projects.
Projects that I need help with include: Farm house making, cooking, feeding the chickens, gardening, planting veggies (more about farming).
Knowledge and skills we have to share include: gardening, planting trees, fishing, free diving, hunting, hiking, snorkeling, bushcraft, survival skills, delicious food creation, tree climbing, how to work smoothly in the material world, planning and organizational awareness, living authentically, being at peace, communicating clearly, and loving life wholeheartedly.
Im flexible about the terms. Come and participate in this exchange for a weekend, a couple months, depends of volunteer(s). I'm looking for people to come from April to December Ideally my 'volunteers' would be able to be up here 4 or 5 days a week working on the land for about 4hours a day total of 20hrs per week. I'm practicing being self sufficient and living on the land in ways that are healthy and rewarding beyond the conventional understanding of what it means to make a living. I find ways to live a balanced lifestyle; working hard and being attentive to material world obligations, while also taking good amounts of time to nourish my body and mind by eating well, doing hunting and survival practice, and spending lots of time in nature listening and learning. I am looking for volunteers that are: self motivated, good-natured, hard working, relatively healthy, enthusiastic about life. -

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
Firstly, the Filipino culture is very warm and welcoming.
As for me if the Volunteers is Helpful and good behaviour , I could take the volunteers by Boat to the neighboring beaches called SAMBAWAN, ISLAND , hiking and also go diving, camping ,fishing and share my knowledge on the types of fish or vegetation. I'll show you the culture here and witness the traditional dance or occasion. -

Help
I live here all year round, and I would like to keep its natural conservation. Therefore, I would like to be able to create an ecological project,
From then on, the volunteers would help me ecologically, to make arrangements, construction, in the continuity of things, receive volunteers who would help me to make diy projects , that would be great.
Everyone is welcome here, as long as you are motivated to help me, but your ideas are also welcome! -

Accommodation
I don't have bamboo huts yet in the farm and that's what I want to make a project. There's a house in the Village 10minutes away from the farm that volunteers can stay.( ITS AN ORDINARY HOUSE IN THE PROVINCE IN PHILIPPINES) as long it's equipped with Good bed/mattress so you have comfortable to stay.
But, I also have tents available, or if you have them you can obviously pitch them outdoor or a hammock for total immersion. -
What else ...
The volunteers can help me to cook the foods, pitch water, helping me some housework. The volunteers will be in my Farm or in the village house during their free time, I can also bring them to nearby Beaches around the island we called Candol Beach ( small beach) or some tourist spots.
I have stuff for hunting available for you if you want.
Otherwise, hiking in the island and I could also take you fishing, and discover the neighboring mountain
We are 2-3hours away from the Tacloban airport . 3.5hrs- 4.5hrs from Cebu by ferry.
Here I don't have wifi at the moment,(maybe in September we have wifi) but we receive the network very well (TOUCH MOBILE *TM or GLOBE NETWORK , I can buy you simcard so I can register it before you arrive just tell me ) there are no connection problems, you can work on your computer, and a work space.
For VEGETARIANS/VEGAN: you're still welcome here but the foods that we can give is limited or you can get in the market the food you desire and will happy to help you to cook. I serve vegetarians food too veggies that I can get in the wild or in the land like Banana blossoms, jackfruit and other Vegetables that usually we eat here.
There is a WAKE-UP call everyday and you should wake up on time. We need volunteers who's eager to help us here. -

The island is tiny, rural, and super local, and his house is hand-built, rustic, and still a work in progress. Staying with Dindo on Maripipi was a really good memorable experience!
