  Description

  Hello! We are a large family: Albert and Sonia (adults) and our 4 daughters and son: Isolda, Muriel, Fiona and Macià. We live in a small and beautiful rustic farm located in Molins de Rei, in the middle of the metropolitan area near Barcelona. What we like most about our way of life is that we try to make people the center of our lives, and then we accommodate the rest... it's not always easy... but we try! We have a small agricultural project: we grow fruit and vegetables, and we sell them at our stall directly to our customers. It is a project that we are very proud of and grateful for, because we can live doing a job that makes us feel very fulfilled. On our farm, other volunteers usually live with our family to work in the fields, as well as numerous friends and family who often visit us. We are a very open family 😊
  
  Hola! Somos una familia numerosa: Albert y Sonia (adultos) y nuestros 4 hijas e hijo: Isolda, Muriel, Fiona y Macià.
  Vivimos en una pequeña y bonita finca rústica situada en Molins de Rei, en medio de la área metropolitana cercana a Barcelona.
  Lo que más nos gusta de nuestra forma de vivir es que intentamos que las personas sean el centro de nuestra vida, y después acomodamos el resto... no siempre es fácil... ¡pero lo intentamos!
  Tenemos un pequeño proyecto agrícola: cultivamos frutas y verduras, y las vendemos en nuestra parada directamente a nuestros clientes. Es un proyecto del que nos sentimos muy orgullosos y agradecidos, pues podemos vivir haciendo un trabajo que nos hace sentir muy realizados.
  En nuestra finca normalmente conviven con nuestra familia otras personas voluntarias para el trabajo en el campo, además de numerosas personas amigas y familiares que suelen visitarnos. Somos una familia muy abierta 😊

  The person can share with us our daily life in a rural estate located near the city of Barcelona. In our surroundings there is a lot of cultural offer and we can make recommendations. Due to our work we cannot travel much and for us this exchange is a trip where we get to know other cultures, languages, music, food... We are very excited!!
  La persona puede compartir con nosotros nuestro día a día en una finca rural situada cerca de la ciudad de Barcelona. En nuestro entorno hay mucha oferta cultural y podemos hacer recomendaciones.
  Por nuestro trabajo no podemos viajar mucho y para nosotros este intercambio es un viaje donde conocer otras culturas, idiomas, músicas, comidas... Estamos muy ilusionados!!

  Help

  We are looking for someone willing to stay with our family for at least four months to care for our children for a few hours a week. We are looking for someone to help us with daily household chores, care for our pets, and keep our children entertained. Learning English would also be beneficial for us and our older children.

  BUSCAMOS UNA PERSONA QUE QUIERA ESTAR MÍNIMO 4 MESES CON NUESTRA FAMÍLIA PARA CUIDAR A NUESTROS HIJOS E HIJAS DURANTE UNAS HORAS A LA SEMANA. Buscamos una persona que nos ayude con las tareas del día a día en nuestra casa, con el cuidado de nuestros animales, y el entretenimiento de nuestras hijas e hijo. Aprender inglés también sería interesante para nosotros y nuestras hijas mayores.

  Español y catalán lenguas maternas. Sonia habla un poco de francés y estamos aprendiendo inglés (tenemos un nivel muy básico, pero nos hacemos entender.. )

  Accommodation

  We offer a single room in our house, sharing the bathroom and kitchen with us. No great luxuries, but warm and comfortable. We like to eat together. For dinner, we usually prefer to have it together, but we leave it up to the volunteer or our family (if one day they need a family space). Our diet is omnivorous, local and mostly organic. In principle, we can adapt to other diets, but we have to specify this with the interested person.
  Ofrecemos habitación individual dentro de nuestra casa y compartiendo baño y cocina con nosotros.
  Sin grandes lujos, pero cálida y confortable.
  Nos gusta comer todos juntos.
  Para la cena, preferimos normalmente hacerla juntos, pero lo dejamos a elección de la persona voluntaria o de nuestra familia (si algún día necesita un espacio familiar).
  Nuestra dieta es omnívora, de proximidad y mayoritariamente ecológica. En principio, podemos adaptarnos a otras dietas, pero lo tenemos que concretar con la persona interesada.

  We do not accept pets. We love animals, but managing ours with other pets is complicated for us and we prefer it that way. Thank you.
  
  No aceptamos mascotas. Nos encantan los animales, pero la gestión de los nuestros con otras mascotas se nos hace complicada y lo preferimos así. Gracias.
