Description
We are a married couple living in a large house with a garden in a quiet area, surrounded by fields and forests.
Our three children are grown up and have moved out, so we have plenty of space to host Workawayers. Since two of our children have already had Workaway experiences themselves, we would like to offer people from different countries the same opportunity.
We have always owned a dog and love animals, even though we do not currently have any pets of our own.
Our area is ideal for anyone who loves nature and walking and is looking for a quiet place to stay; at the same time, Stuttgart is easily accessible for those who wish to explore the city. -

Help
We warmly welcome anyone who enjoys sharing in our daily life and helping out with tasks around the house and garden. There is a wide range of activities to choose from—everything from gardening, greenhouse tasks, and hedge trimming to painting, cleaning, and other small indoor projects. Some tasks are more physically demanding, while others are more relaxed. No prior experience is necessary; together, we’ll find something that suits you and that you enjoy doing.
You also have the opportunity to get to know traditional Swabian cuisine and learn how to prepare a few dishes. Cooking together is entirely voluntary; however, if you enjoy cooking, we would love to learn about your culture and traditional dishes as well. And if cooking isn't your thing, that’s perfectly fine—there are plenty of other things to do. Groceries are always available, and there is certainly plenty of food to go around.
Most importantly, you will have plenty of free time. You can organize your working hours and days however feels right for you. We want our home to be a place where you can unwind, relax, and recharge.
Friends and family frequently come and go at our home, and we sometimes host barbecues or bonfires in the garden. Music also plays a big role in our family. Claudi plays the cello, clarinet, and guitar; musicians are therefore especially welcome to bring their instruments along to play together and teach each other new things.
We aren't looking for someone to fulfil a rigid list of duties, but rather someone who enjoys sharing daily life with us, helping out where possible, and contributing their own ideas—all while having enough time to explore the area, relax, and enjoy their stay. -
