Description
Welcome to our home in beautiful Sardinia! We are a welcoming, multicultural family originally from Belgium, Australia, and New Zealand, and we also speak German. We live on a private, non-commercial homestead surrounded by nature and our family animals.
Our household includes three friendly dogs, two cats, chickens, and pigs, as well as a small family vineyard and vegetable garden strictly for our own household consumption. None of our produce or wine is sold commercially.
We view hosting Workawayers as a true cultural and human exchange. As a global family, we love welcoming people into our daily lives, learning about new cultures, hearing diverse perspectives, and learning new recipes or life skills from our guests! -

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
Because of our diverse backgrounds, we love meeting people from all over the world and sharing our unique perspective on living in Sardinia. Volunteers can expect to learn a lot about rural living, unique animal practices, gardening, seasonal tree pruning, and homestead upkeep.
In your free time, you can explore the stunning Sardinian countryside, enjoy the local nature, or relax with our animals. It is a fantastic opportunity to slow down, connect with the land, and experience authentic local culture. -

Help
We are looking for one person or a couple who are hardworking, self-motivated, and enjoy helping out around a rural household. All help requested is purely for private home and property upkeep (no commercial work involved).
Animal Care: Feeding and looking after our family dogs, cats, chickens, and pigs. Home Garden & Land: General family gardening, caring for our private vineyard, and seasonal tree pruning.
Property and land care: Helping with easy ongoing land and structural care and our beautiful property.
Note: Help involves physical tasks outdoors around the home and land, so a practical, roll up your sleeves attitude is essential!
We are looking for one person or a couple who enjoy hands-on daily homestead living alongside us. Tasks are light, flexible, non-professional, and always shared together. -
