Description
Hey :)
We are looking for friendly and motivated travelers who would like to join us in a cozy, artistic beach house in beautiful Calabria. The house has a rustic–industrial charm, lots of open space, a big communal kitchen and a small garden surrounding the property. At the moment, two rescued street dogs live here - sometimes more join us temporarily , so being comfortable with animals is important.
I‘m mostly spending my time in Frankfurt, Germany where I am a passionate restaurant owner.
The rest of the time I enjoy exploring new countries & cultures.
I love cooking, music, motorsports, yoga & arts. When traveling I enjoy diving, surfing & skiing.
I like to get in natural touch with open-minded people, seeking true experiences: this is why I chose to travel the world backpacking or with my camper & became a host in my both home countries: Italy & Germany

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
First of all, being arround me means you’re being exposed to lots of good music, jokes and homemade food ;-)
As I grew up in two countries and even though in Frankfurt that is a very multicultural city, I consider my self as a openminded and reflected person. I lived in four different countries and worked in lots of different fields so that I have knowledge and expertise in things.
Help
We are currently looking for help with several small DIY and renovation projects. Nothing too technical, but basic handyman skills are very welcome. Tasks may include:
Applying lime plaster to some walls in the basement
Freshening up parts of the exterior walls
Supporting with small repairs and improvements in the house
Helping to beautify the garden
Assisting with building a small pavilion or creative outdoor spaces
If you have an artistic soul, we’d be especially happy! Painting outdoor walls, adding creative touches, or bringing new colors and ideas into the house would be wonderful.
We also welcome travelers who can share something special:
Guitar or drumming lessons 🎸🥁
Spanish lessons
Dog training skills, as our rescued dogs benefit a lot from gentle guidance and structure
Experience or interest in van conversion projects - especially with solar panels is a plus!
What we offer:
A private room
A shared bathroom
Breakfast + one daily meal included
A warm, open atmosphere with space for creativity, exchange, and slow living
Work schedule:
~4 hours per day, 4–5 days a week
Ideal stay:
At least 2 weeks, up to 1 month (flexible depending on vibe and availability).
We’re open-minded, creative, and always excited to meet new people with fresh ideas. If you love hands-on projects, artistic expression, dogs, or simply want to enjoy the Calabrian seaside while contributing your skills, we would love to hear from you.
Feel free to reach out with any ideas or questions - we’re open to all types of exchanges and offers.
Looking forward to welcoming you to our little beachside project 🌊✨

My animals / pets
Tornado (5 years)
Tornado is a young stallion with a powerful presence and a sensitive soul.
He’s intelligent, alert, and deeply connected to his surroundings. Tornado is currently in gentle groundwork and training, learning trust, calmness, and communication. He responds best to clear energy, patience, and respect.
Being around Tornado is a grounding experience — he teaches awareness, presence, and mutual trust. 🐎✨Puppy Jackson
Jackson is our curious little puppy, full of life, clumsy charm, and pure joy.
He’s playful, affectionate, and currently discovering the world one paw at a time. Jackson loves cuddles, short play sessions, and lots of naps in between. Like all puppies, he’s learning every day and brings laughter and warmth wherever he goes.
Living with Jackson means patience, smiles, and a lot of puppy love. 🐾✨Negroni (1 year)
Nero is a former street dog with a big heart and a calm, protective presence.
He’s strong and alert, yet incredibly gentle with people he trusts. Nero loves being around the house and garden, enjoys walks, and is very loyal once he bonds with you. He’s not aggressive at all — just watchful and grounded, like a true guardian.
Living with Nero means sharing your days with a soulful, grateful dog who has chosen humans again. 🐾Loui (6 years)
Loui is a Vizsla–Labrador mix with the soul of a best friend.
He’s affectionate, gentle, and loves human company — always happy to be nearby, whether you’re working, relaxing, or cooking together. Loui is playful without being wild, very social, and gets along well with people and other dogs.
He’s the kind of dog who brings lightness into the house and makes you feel instantly welcome. 🐶✨
