Description
Hello, my name is Sutheera. I live in Mueang Phayao Thailand. My house has a nice garden, where I try to grow my own food, so far only the fruit trees succeeded. So I need some help clean up and setting up my garden, as I do not know much about gardening. I used to be a kinder school teacher but I am now retired. Most of the time I live alone, but from time to time my son comes to stay with me. He is an independent filmmaker and therefore a lot on the road. My english is not good but my heart is big. We can teach each other our languages and cultures. I love nature and art, but especially the combination of them both. I enjoy meeting new people from all over the world and welcome peaceful people who are interested in learning.

I can teach Thai language if you are interested.
Depending on the weather and/or my availability, you can help independently in my garden in the morning and the go explore Phayao.
My home is 3 km to Phayao lake where you will find many markets and a beautiful scenery.
Helping hours will be around 3 to 4 hours a day.
You might get the chance to come meet my kinder school students if i have time. I love to travel and if we have the chance I might take you on a trip to Mae Sai, Chiang Rai or around Phayao province.
Also, Thai cooking class is available.

I have this beautiful garden, but unfortunately I don't know a lot about gardening itself. So I need somebody who is not only willing to help, but also knows how to take care of a garden and is able to teach me. Also, I am open to any ideas or suggestions on how to improve the garden. Feel free to express your ideas!
To sum up, I need help in the garden and general maintenance around the house.

Accommodation
There are several options:
I have one out door guestroom with a shared kitchen and bathroom that you will mostly have to yourself.
If you are into camping, you are also very welcome to put up your tent in the garden.
For really adventerous people we also have a cabin in the woods about 2km from my house that is a little project on its own but with a little work and maintenance can also be used.
Regarding meals, you'll have to prepare your own lunch (or walk to a local restaurant close-by).
In the evening we can have dinner together.
Vegetarians might find it a little difficult here in Thailand. If you have certain dietary requirements, I might not be able to provide that.
Regarding transportation, you might want to consider renting a bike or scooter in town, as we might not always be able to give you a ride with the car/scooter.
What else ...
I have a big lake in my backyard that is perfect for swimming on a hot day. Phayao is a beautiful peaceful northern city, although Muang Phayao is the largest city in Phayao it's still quite small and doesn't see many foreigners. It's a beautiful area of Thailand 3 hour bus ride from Chiang Mai, 1 hour bus from Chiang Rai.
There is also the possibility to go hiking in the mountains and see the stone Buddhas of an old village. The area is mainly rice farming, therefore nice and quiet.
From the bus stations it's about 2 kilometers to my home, but you can use public transport.
