I truly was so fortunate to have found this family for my first workaway experience. I was only with them for 3 months and it really flew by! Both Camilla and Fabrizio are such generous, warm people, and their daughters Ludovica and Cecilia are two of the most beautiful, intelligent, spunky little girls I have ever had the privilege of working
… read more with in all of my childcare experience. I had another internship while I was au pairing with them, and Camilla was always super flexible and understanding with my schedule. Their home is elegant and tasteful – full of natural light, art, and an extensive collection of records that I'd spend way too long sifting through! It's also conveniently located near a bus stop, tram, and train stop, as well as just a short walk way from Villa Borghese.
This family really is such a gem; I hope to visit them, and play and laugh with Ludo and Ceci again someday soon. Thank you for everything Camilla! I miss you all!You can only contact Workawayers who have an active membership.

Alexis has lived with us on and off for 7 months and from the very first day we were able to consider her part of the family. She is an outgoing, shining, intelligent, curious and fun young woman. I loved having her around the house for a chat while cooking or preparing the girls for bedtime, the girls would love playing with her, running around
… read more the house laughing and enjoying their time together and my husband would have the most interesting conversations with her about our crazy world. She taught our older girl how to swim and to both of the girls the basic English words. She is a hard working person, loves to laugh but takes every job very seriously and is dedicated with care and attention. We miss her very much and we can’t wait for her to come back and visit. Alexis has a second home with us here in Roma!

Au pairing for this family was one of the best experiences of my life! I au paired for them 3 separate times (visa reasons) and spent a total of 7 months with them. They took me in as a part of the family, and I have never felt more welcomed anywhere else. Their home is lovely, and it is very close to the city center and Villa Borghese.
My days
… read more generally consisted of sightseeing around Roma in the morning, heading home to play with the girls and/or take them to activities in the afternoon, then dinner with the family in the evening (Cami makes amazing authentic Italian food and Fabri loves a good bottle of wine!) On the weekends I would either venture around Rome or take a trip to another part of Italy!
If you have the opportunity to au pair for this family DO IT! They are genuinely the most caring, accommodating, fun, and interesting family in Roma, and you will be lucky to be a part of their famiglia. You can only contact Workawayers who have an active membership.
