Description
I've recently left the big smoke of London to a rural, picturesque and remote village in Montenegro to find peace, freedom and healing for both me and my son.
I found an old stone house that resembled something out of Tuscany with a beautiful terrace and swimming pool perched at the end of a road overlooking a forest full of pine and cypress trees and the Adriatik sea. The stone houses around mine were destroyed by the 1979 earthquake and abandoned. I cleared the forest behind me that had overgrown from years of neglect and created a botanical terraced garden. I wish to renovate the house and add features to the terraced garden and the terrace itself. I would like to add a balcony from my French window for visitors to relax and heal as they enjoy the Adriatik Sea, to change the old stone tiles in the kitchen, to add wooden swings and benches in the terraced garden, build a tree house up there too and to revive the grape vine by building a pergola. In the future I may create a retreat or simply a home where people can escape from stressful city lives to find themselves in the tranquility of nature and away from the unnecessary noise of city life. I hope to inspire people through a writing retreat and set up a podcast to motivate people to be the best version of themselves.

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
My son is Japanese and I have Pakistani heritage so we can exchange language and food as I will cook for the visitors. We can explore the village, visit people who prepare cheese, honey and local wine and travel to nearby attractions as well as visiting local beaches and a high ropes adventure park. There are hikes that can be attempted too. I hope to learn skills that guests can provide through their contribution to the house and garden whilst sharing positivity through the power of the subconscious mind and meditation.

Help
The kind of help I'd like is to build a tree house in the terraced garden with a fully functioning toilet, bathroom and small kitchen, to build a wooden swing on the terraced garden, to replace the kitchen tiles, to help revive a grape vine and build a pergola, to build a balcony overlooking the Adriatik sea and to improve the design and layout of the terraced garden. This could be through planting fruit, herbs and vegetables or the aesthetic look of the garden.
I'd also like to clear some unwanted trees that are touching the side of the house to prevent the possibility of damage to the house through potential forest fires. There's also a disused path down to the village centre via abandoned ruins that needs cutting back and smoothening so people can safely walk up and down without injuring themselves. There is also painting and plastering to be done as the house has been affected by damp.
I will also get involved myself though I am still learning new skills. I will also hire professionals for large constructions or assistance that is necessary.

I speak some Japanese and Urdu. My son speaks Japanese too. I am learning Serbian. Our native language is English.
Accommodation
The house has 4 bedrooms but currently only 2 have beds. One is occupied by me and my son and the other has two single beds. There are 2 other bedrooms that are unfurnished but mattresses can be placed in them and there is a wardrobe in each of the 2 additional bedrooms. Meals will be provided and there are 2 bathrooms with toilets.

What else ...
Transport options are limited but I have a car and can drop workawayers to various transport hubs and the village has a restaurant and is easily accessible by walk. There is also a bicycle that can be used. Internet is via mobile hotspot. It works fairly well as a new mast was recently installed.
