Description
We are a little family of three living in the beautiful town of Thun, Switzerland, surrounded by mountains, lakes, and fresh air.
I’m mama (29) of a 1-year-old daughter, and I live here with my husband (40) and our little one. We are looking for a kind, reliable and open-minded person who would like to become a part of our daily life.
Your main help would be with light household tasks (like tidying up, folding laundry, maybe cooking simple meals), and depending on your experience and comfort, some occasional childcare support as well – for example, watching our daughter for a little while or going on walks together.
Why you’ll enjoy being with us:
You’ll live in a safe, peaceful area with a beautiful view and easy access to the town and nature. The lake of Thun is a 10 Minutes walk away.
You’ll get to experience Swiss life in one of the most scenic places in the country with a beautiful view on the Swiss Alps.
If you are caring, trustworthy and ready for a meaningful cultural experience, we would love to hear from you!
Ps: we are vegetarian!!!
We are looking for someone min. 1 month or longer.

You’ll get to experience daily life in a Swiss-German-speaking region – we’ll happily help you learn the language or improve your skills if you want
You’ll be part of Swiss family routines, traditions and food – from fresh bread in the morning to family walks and seasonal celebrations.
We’d love to introduce you to typical Swiss customs (like “Zvieri” snacks, nature days, local markets)
You’ll see how family life works here in a peaceful town that balances tradition with modern living
And we’re always curious to learn about your culture too – your language, favorite meals, music, or customs!Au Pair Help

You will have your own little room. We live in a 4 room apartement with a little garden. We live in a small but cozy apartment.
You would have your own private room, but the space is generally quite compact – so we really value respect and good communication.
Our baby goes to bed around 7 p.m., and she is a light sleeper – so evenings are usually very quiet in our home.
We kindly ask that you keep noise low during this time, as the apartment is quite sound-sensitive.
If you're looking for a calm, family-centered stay with lots of nature and Swiss culture around, you are welcome.
As our child wakes up early (like 5.30/6.30am) you'd probably be awake by then also 😅 so it would be of advantage if you are a morning person 😊
We normally eat 2 meals a day but you are welcome to cook you something whenever you wish. What else ...
Because our daughter ist a bad sleeper, we need you to be quiet after 7pm to make sure not to wake her. Of course you can watch tv oder go outside anyway. But as our living room is directly opposite her room, she would hear if there are loud noises (my child unfortunately is very sensitive when it comes to noise 😅 but at daytime she likes "action")
We live in the city but not in the very center. The bus stop is 2 walking minutes away and will bring you in the city center within 8 minutes. There you find shops, restaurants, bars etc.A little more information
