    Description

We are a couple who moved a year ago to the countryside outside Qc to start a sustainable farm. We have unlimited ideas for this project and are open to new ones. I'm quebecoise and Eric is american. We both speak french, english and spanish. We have a little one who's name Avi. He's gonna turn 1 years old in august.
We own 29 hectares (70 acres) of land, (3/4 forest) with a barn, a garage and a cute little house from ~1880. We have planted fruits trees and we are getting started on a garden. the property is long and thin, with a 2km trail to a river / waterfall / swim hole.
We are looking for people with buena onda (good vibes) who want to help start our project.

We spent last years travelling by bike in Chile and when the pandemic hit us, we stopped to work on a farm. We loved the community of a group living together and helping each other. We would love to create this type of community on our land.
We love outdoor activities and travelling. We speak french, english and spanish. We also love sharing around a good meal, fire spot and good music.
Im use to teach with autistic teeanger and Eric's work as an engeneer.

    Help

We are starting a sustainable farm project. We need help with construction/renovation, gardening (planting, taking care, harvest, conservation), and forestry work. The general maintenance of the property is also welcome. On the land, there's a little bit of rock...for climbers, there is the possibility to develop a little climbing area ( boulder, and top rope, we have some gear).

On our land there's a 2km walk who lead to a nice river to swim. Theres other natural swimming area at walking distance. We are 12km away from the pretty town of L'Islet (on the St-Lawrence river). 20 minutes in car lead us to St-Jean-Port Joli, a nice town with a lot of artist and some cultural event. We are an hour away from the touristic region of Kamouraska and an hour and a half from Quebec city. The bigest town near us are Montmagny (30 minutes) and La Pocatière (30 minutes).
From L'Islet, there is the road 132, friendly for a bike trip and who lead on cute villages along the St-Lawrence river on both side (east, west). We have a bike rack and we can give you a ride.
We are going to a bigger grocery almost every week and to Quebec city every 2-3 weeks.
