Description
Hey, and welcome to our permaculture homestead. Here we grow vegetables and fruit with low-till and no-dig methods; make our own compost and biochar; propagate trees and herbs; breed acorns for edibility; and forage for berries and mushrooms. Agroforestry is our passion.
Jouke is an experienced eco-builder having built an off-grid wooden house and having helped build a modern straw-bale house. Lauren is into nutrition and cooking. Together we are working on starting a cohousing community — like an ecovillage with private homes and clear boundaries.
