    We are a retired couple who live on a lifestyle block in Waihi. We have chickens, vege garden, orchard and a very energetic dog. Waihi is in close proximity to a beautiful beach and the Coromandel Peninsula.

    We love meeting folks from different countries and would be happy to offer information and tips about our local area. I am a kiwi and my husband is American. Additionally we run a BnB on a casual basis.

    Our property is slopping and because we don’t spray we have plenty of wedding to do. This is where you come in, tasks would be simple weeding and trimming. Just a few days work is required.

    We offer a self contained shipping container (sleep out). Includes a shower, toilet and small kitchen. It is a cozy space with everything you need. Frank modified the shipping container himself and wherever possible we try to use recycled materials.

    We just require two days work at 4 hours per day. We will provide ingredients for breakfast in the shipping container. Eggs, bread, cereal, tea and coffee. Then for lunch and dinner you would eat with us. We generally eat soup or sandwiches for lunch and then dinner would be a healthy meal of meat, potatoes and vegetables. We are able to accommodate dietary requests not a problem.

    We have bikes you can use and if you don’t have transportation we can collect you from the bus in Waihi.
